Class war at its best (More on this topic) Fee Stuff

I have never heard this said as simply or as well.

Class war at its best.

The folks who are getting the free stuff don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the
free stuff and their own stuff and the folks who are paying for the
free stuff want the free stuff to stop.

The folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff
on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now the people who are forcing the people who pay for the
free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING
the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff
are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So the people who are GETTING the free stuff  have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff
.
Now understand this.
All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded.

The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in
1776 -
238
years ago.

The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff
.
Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

ELECTION 2020 IS COMING

A Nation of Sheep Breeds a Government of Wolves!

 I'M 100%
for PASSING
THIS ON !!!

For all our sake PLEASE
Take a Stand!!!

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck 50 miles off the coast of Northern California Sunday and was felt as much as 200 miles away.

The United States Geological Survey reported that a mid-level earthquake happened near the city of Petrolia, around 8pm.

NBC News said that residents in the coastal city of Eureka felt their homes shakes, as well as people 137 miles south in Ukiah, 171 miles north at the Oregon border and nearly 200 miles inland in Redding.

A video shared on Twitter showed one person's hanging lights swinging due to the quake's force.

Why the Left Calls Good People Racist

A few weeks ago, I devoted my column to an article about me published in Newsweek under the headline “Conservative Radio Host Ridicules Anne Frank.” As the full context of my comments in the video made clear, it was a lie.

To its credit, after its editor was notified of this fact, Newsweek changed the headline and made revisions to the article and issued a correction.

Since then, two more smears have been spread about me, one by an official at Purdue University and the other by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the major source of news in Canada.

Wicomico Civic Center events to proceed as scheduled; Venue increasing efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus

Wicomico Civic Center events to proceed as scheduled
Venue increasing efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus

SALISBURY, Md. - Events at the Wicomico Civic Center are proceeding as planned.

The venue’s decision to proceed with scheduled shows and events was guided by expert information sourced from public health and government authorities.

“The safety and health of our guests is our top priority,” said Civic Center manager Katie Rouse. “After consulting with our local health department and emergency services officials, we feel comfortable proceeding with the events scheduled at the venue.”

Officials also took into consideration advice from Governor Larry Hogan and the International Association of Venue Managers.

In a press release issued on Thursday, Governor Larry Hogan stated, “Marylanders should go to work or go to school tomorrow just as they normally would. At the same time, I want to continue to remind everyone to prepare themselves and continue to stay informed.”

An email issued on Thursday from the International Association of Venue Managers stated, “While experts are saying to be prudent and practice best-health recommendations that are similar to the prevention of the seasonal flu, public health authorities are not saying there should be restrictions on business or leisure travel anywhere in the United States.”

Guests are encouraged to practice every day preventative actions recommended by the CDC, including:
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

The Civic Center is increasing sanitation efforts to prevent the spread of disease per the CDC’s recommendations.

Civic Center officials will continue to monitor the situation closely. Any updates will be shared with the press, as well as posted to the venue’s website (www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org) and social media channels.

What Is Butt Dust?

What, you ask, is 'Butt dust'? What do you do or say, when an innocent child asks you something so innocent and they are so serious? Read on and you'll discover the joy in it! These have to be original and genuine. No adult is this creative!!

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, 'If you don't remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to six.'

STEVEN (age 3) hugged and kissed his Mom good night. 'I love you so much that when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window.'

BRITTANY (age 4) had an ear ache and wanted a pain killer. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: 'How does it know it's me?'

SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. 'Please don't give me this juice again,' she said, 'It makes my teeth cough.'

DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: 'How much do I cost?'

CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried When his Mom asked what was troubling him, he replied, 'I don't know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in it?'

MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his dad: 'Why is he whispering in her mouth?'

TAMMY (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mom knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and then asked, 'Why doesn't your skin fit your face?'

JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: 'The man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt.' Concerned, James asked: 'What happened to the flea?'

The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget....

This particular Sunday sermon... 'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust....' He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Make sure you pass this one on and spread the smiles...

Long-Term Care Community

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today, after joining Vice President Mike Pence at the White House for a teleconference with the nation’s governors, enacted emergency legislation granting him the authority to transfer resources from the state’s rainy day fund for Maryland’s novel coronavirus response. The legislation, SB 1079, was passed unanimously last week by the Maryland Senate and the House of Delegates.

“I want to sincerely thank Speaker Jones and President Ferguson and all the members of the Maryland General Assembly for working with us to expedite this legislation and unanimously pass it,” said Governor Hogan. “This is a great example of how seriously the State of Maryland has been taking this crisis, and it shows that government at the federal, state, and local levels is working together to respond to this threat in a cooperative and coordinated manner.”

After providing an update regarding Maryland’s five positive cases of COVID-19, the governor announced that he is establishing a Coronavirus Response Team, which will advise the administration on important health and emergency management decisions as this situation continues to evolve.

“We are committed to being transparent, providing the facts, keeping Marylanders fully informed, taking actions based on our detailed planning, and making decisions based on the facts on the ground,” continued the governor. “In order to make those decisions and to leverage all of the resources and expertise across our state, at my direction, we are convening a Coronavirus Response Team composed of experts in public health and emergency management.”

The governor also announced that he will convene a meeting of his full Cabinet tomorrow to discuss the government-wide response, and meet with members of the long-term care community to ensure that the necessary precautions are being taken to protect residents of nursing homes and retirement communities.

Additionally, the governor announced that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is moving to Level II of its Pandemic Flu and Other Infectious Diseases Attendance and Leave Policy. DBM is advising state agencies to cancel all business-related out-of-state travel for all employees and to prepare for a potential period of mandatory telework for all non-essential personnel.

Governor Hogan was joined at today’s press conference by Lieutenant Governor Boyd K. Rutherford, House Speaker Adrienne Jones, Senate President Bill Ferguson, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, and Harford County Executive Barry Glassman.

He has also issued a directive requiring state health carriers to waive all cost-sharing regarding testing for COVID-19. Read the list of ongoing state actions here.

Don't miss it! The next Supermoon rises at 7:15pm TONIGHT

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Get ready for the first of 3 consecutive supermoons this coming Monday evening as the moon rises at 7:15pm.

What is a supermoon?

Since the moons orbit is more of an ellipse, it gradually moves farther or closer to Earth along its orbit. When it is closest to Earth, that is known as perigee. When a Full Moon coincides with perigee, it is considered a supermoon since it can appear slightly larger and brighter than a regular full moon.

The College President Who Simply Won’t Raise Tuition

’ll tell you a funny story,” said Mitch Daniels, the president of Purdue University. It was the day before the first home football game of the season and he was sitting in his corner office, overlooking the postcard-perfect quad.

“So the cost of a year of undergraduate college at Purdue University, tuition and fees, is $9,992. I’m proud of that number.

“One day I’m looking at one of those college guides, and it said, ‘Tuition and fees: $10,002.’ I called up our people and said, ‘Lookit here, there’s a mistake. You got the wrong number.’ They said, ‘That’s not a mistake.’ I said, ‘Yes, it is. Believe me. I know.’ They went back and checked and they said, ‘No, that’s the right figure.’

“It just bugged me to death. Does Walmart have a special and price it at $10.02? I found out what happened. There’s a second installment on a preexisting gym fee that got tacked on. Ten dollars plus $9,992 equals $10,002.

“Next time I’m at the gym, I ask the guy who runs it, ‘How’s it going here?’ He said, ‘Membership’s up; we’re doing well, making a little profit.’ I thought, Okay, that’s all I needed to know. And the next meeting of the board of trustees, they repealed that fee.

“So now we’re back to $9,992,” he said. There was both self-deprecation and a note of triumph in his chuckle. “I don’t know why it bugged me so much, but it did.”

Federal ethics officer drank heavily and 'went to strip clubs' while on duty, watchdog says

A federal ethics officer retired from his post after a watchdog report found he drank heavily and visited strip clubs while on duty.

An inspector general report released Friday found that Michael McKenna, the general counsel and ethics officer for the National Credit Union Administration, and his deputy Lara Daly-Sims allegedly violated multiple statutes and federal ethics rules while on the job, including illegal drug use, time/attendance fraud, and misuse of official time.

"The investigation substantiated the allegations that McKenna and Daly-Sims drank alcohol and went to strip clubs during work hours. McKenna and Daly-Sims both stated in their interviews that they drank alcohol and went to strip clubs during work hours," the report reads.

Soros Spends Big to Help Prosecutor Who Dropped Jussie Smollett Charges

George Soros and other liberal billionaires are pushing large sums of cash into Chicago to back the far-left prosecutor whose office dropped charges against Jussie Smollett, the actor who staged a "hate crime" he attributed to Trump supporters.

The reelection efforts of Kim Foxx, state's attorney for Cook County, Ill., received a boost from the Illinois Justice & Public Safety PAC. The committee, founded to support Foxx, has spent six figures on media productions and direct mail backing Foxx's candidacy, state records show, making it Foxx's largest backer so far. The PAC received its entire $2 million budget from a group created and funded by Soros.

Man who gave viral gun rights speech wins GOP primary for North Carolina lieutenant governor

A gun rights enthusiast whose speech before a North Carolina city council went viral has won the state's Republican party nomination for lieutenant governor, the first African American to ever earn the nod.

Unofficial results show Mark Robinson's 32.5% of the vote more than doubled that of second-place finisher Andy Wells and exceeded the 30% threshold to avoid a runoff, according to local reports. Robinson, a former factory worker, earned praise from gun rights activists across the country after he delivered a passionate speech to the Greensboro City Council in 2018.

"What I want to know is when are you all going to start standing up for the majority? And here’s who the majority is. I’m the majority. I'm a law abiding citizen who has never shot anybody," Robinson said during his remarks.

FBI disregarded dossier author's admission 'raw' intelligence amounted to gossip

Dossier creator Christopher Steele is scheduled to stand trial in mid-May in a defamation case whose 2017 court records were ignored by FBI agents as they wrote the last of four dossier-based wiretap warrants on Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page in June of that year.

Mr. Steele filed his first sworn declaration in a London court on April 3, 2017, admitting that one of his 17 memos — though not on Mr. Page — was “unsolicited” and “raw” intelligence.

The Washington Times first disclosed the document on April 25, 2017. Republicans later told the Justice Department the filing should have set off alarm bells inside the FBI about Mr. Steele’s credibility, given his admission he had accepted gossip.

None of the four FBI wiretap affidavits on Mr. Page would have been sought without the Democrat Party-funded dossier, according to Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.

Virginia reshaped as Democrats put historic stamp on laws

Democratic legislators in Virginia have dramatically reshaped the state in two months, sweeping aside many of the state’s old business-friendly and socially conservative laws and replacing them with a broad, progressive policy agenda.

Lawmakers wrapped up this year’s session Sunday - apart from passing the state budget - after advancing the South’s strictest gun laws, broadest LGBTQ protections and some of its loosest abortion restrictions. Democrats had not had full control of the legislature for more than two decades, and their years of pent-up frustrations yielded one of the most consequential sessions in Virginia’s history.

“In November, voters called for swift, impactful action to make their communities safer and more prosperous. We have delivered,” House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn said.

But many Republicans said Democrats had advanced a liberal agenda beyond what the average voter supports while trampling on Virginia’s pro-business reputation.

Trump Haters Demand POTUS Stop Playing 'Macho Man,' Village People Shut Them Down

YMCA, meet MAGA.

I suppose I shouldn’t be shocked. We live in a hyper-politicized America where Ravelry, a knitting social media website, banned support for President Donald Trump or his administration in June. Alas, my herringbone-stitched Trump-Pence 2020 lawn sign will sadly go unrecognized.

However, I would have thought the Village People would be, well, apolitical at this point. It’s not just that “YMCA,” “Macho Man” and “In the Navy” have passed into the common cultural lexicon at this point. It’s that the group itself stopped being culturally relevant beyond those songs during the Carter administration. For one day every year — Halloween — the group becomes relevant again.

In 2018, visitors spent nearly $18 billion on tourism in the state, according to a Maryland Tourism Development Board annual report.

White House blames Pelosi for Trump snubbing annual St. Patrick's Day lunch

President Trump will skip the annual St. Patrick's Day lunch in the Capitol, the first president to do so in nearly two decades, and the White House is pointing the finger at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The luncheon is one of Washington, D.C.’s oldest bipartisan traditions, beginning in 1983 when House Speaker Tip O'Neill had President Ronald Reagan to the Capitol for the lunch. The lunch, planned each year around the Taoiseach of Ireland’s visit to the United States, is scheduled for Thursday.

Amid news of the president's forthcoming absence, the White House blamed Pelosi for his snub.

Bill in General Assembly would increase the tax credit for living organ donors

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — After returning home from Iraq, Army veteran Kellen Leech, who was deployed three times over the course of 14 year, wrestled with his mental health: PTSD, survivor’s guilt and depression — until he read a Facebook post about Ellery Payton.

Payton’s previous kidney transplant failed, and in 2012 he needed another one; Leech, a Prince George’s County, Maryland, resident, decided he wanted to donate his.

After finding out his kidney matched, Leech’s mind was set on the surgical procedure in pursuit of mutual healing, but to “sustain” himself it would cost his deployment savings. He had to delay his donation for two months while he “scraped money together” from his church and local veterans organizations.

Illinois Supreme Court spikes Jussie Smollett's request to throw out new charges

The Illinois Supreme Court rejected actor Jussie Smollett’s request to throw out new charges filed against him for allegedly lying to police about a hate crime.

An indictment unveiled last month charged the former Empire actor with six counts of disorderly conduct related to a staged homophobic and racist attack in January 2019. Smollett is accused of lying to police by saying he was the victim of the attack.

Smollett moved to have the new charges against him dropped, and the special prosecutor assigned to his case removed. Smollett’s legal team argued Cook County Judge Michael Toomin misinterpreted the law when he appointed a special prosecutor to Smollett’s case last year, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Obama’s Homeland Security IG Indicted On Fraud, Theft Charges

Former Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Charles Edwards and his former aide Murali Yamazula Venkata were indicted Friday on charges of stealing government property to defraud the U.S. government. Yamazula was also charged with destroying records.

The indictments handed down by the Justice Department allege that Edwards and Venkata were working with others within the inspector general’s office to orchestrate a scheme to steal confidential and proprietary software that includes sensitive information on government employees. Prosecutors say Edwards was attempting to resell a revamped package of the software as a product of his firm, Delta Business Solutions to the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

“The indictment further alleges that, in addition to stealing DHS-OIG’s software and the sensitive government databases, Venkata and others also assisted Edwards by reconfiguring his laptop so that he could properly upload the stolen software and databases, provided troubleshooting support whenever Edwards required it, and helped him build a testing server at his residence with the stolen software and databases,” the Department of Justice said in a press release announcing the indictments. “As further part of the alleged scheme, Edwards retained software developers in India for the purpose of developing his commercial alternative of DHS-OIG’s software.”
