  1. you know, a railing would have been helpful.. if only for a visual reference of where the river starts and the walkway ends.

    1. Would you safety sallies give it a rest? Do you really need government to protect you from yourself? Do you understand the concept of Self Determination? Have you had one single day in your sad life where you've exhibited any degree of courage?

    3. I agree with 4:49. Do you really need the Government to make decisions for you.

  6. By the looks of the wrecker I'm surprised Salisbury still uses that company with ALL the chaos the co-owner has caused in the city and county!

    1. Wasn't he convicted on drug distribution charges in that major bust a couple years back? Just goes to show you what Salisbury truly is made up of!! Damn the streets are jammed full of ghetto drug dealers and the city uses convicted dealing business owners

    4. @6:58 second degree murder in ocean city then drug distribution in wicomico county, I think that's a pretty chaotic resume

    2. The fire boat isn't equipped to lift cars out of a river. It's for boat fires and rescues.

That Fire Boat isn't Fit To Do Anything. Well, except the Boat rides and drinking Parties by Jake Day and his buddies from "Rainbow Squad". On Taxpayers Dime, of course.

    4. 7:02...wasn’t the driver in the car? Didn’t they need to be rescued? That is the premise they sold us on.

  9. I am pretty sure it is South Division Street not N. Division street.

  10. The "fireboat" has sat in dry storage for several years. Salisbury doesn't have the licenses, expertise, or maintenance ability to keep it operating without raising additional taxes. In fairness to taxpayers, the city should identify where it is located so that the taxpayers can at least get some selfies with the boat.

  13. @5:23 I just pulled Maryland case search up on this guy and damn you're right. 8/27/82 the guy was charged with first degree murder in Worcester county, WTF kind of city has Salisbury turned into? First this and then good old Mike Lewis laud the hammer down on him for distribution charges. Fine outstanding businessmen you have

  14. @7:46 the guy is a total sociopath. He doesn't care who/how his actions hurt others as long as he gets his

  15. In other news, Fake Day preparing to announce Smallzbury Run Whut Ya Brung 4 Wheel Regatta. Running start along ditch walk to furthest point in the ditch. Rainbow T-shirt and selfie without the mare to winner.

  16. @6:58 what happened to YOU, YOU got mighty quiet when they called you out on the deceit and dishonesty that IS one of that companies primary operators. The guy has been doing dirt since he got out of prison in the early 90's. There's nothing credible about any aspect of the guys life

  17. Which gentleman are you all referring to? Towing company??

    ReplyDelete
  18. @11:32 good old "Jeffrey" @simpsons towing. There's NO way a city municipality should be supporting business with a guy like that involved

    ReplyDelete
  19. You all take it easy on poor old Jeffrey Simpson. He's been incarcerated a third of his life and God knows he's been innocent Everytime, NOT!! I see he's being sued by one of his previous customers for negligence I assume. Don't know what the poor guy will do now his father passed away and isn't around to keep bailing his ass out. Thanks Mike Lewis for putting an end to his illegal drug activity

    1. Where did you see anything about Mike Lewis arresting this guy?

    2. I think they meant thank you WCSO, MSP and whatever else police agencies were involved in the investigation. All the BS about personal use is hilarious that's all they caught him with at the time. I doubt very seriously they would have given him 5 years all but 18 months suspended if they didn't have him tied up in the whole drug ring and it was just one ounce. Dope man for 20 years in Salisbury it's time he just goes away already. Why support a business and a jackass like this?

  21. Did anyone see the new on Google about Salisbury getting rid of the getto and turning river front into a tourist attraction. No kidding. Wasn't said like that but that how it boils down. Millions of dollars from where?

  22. It's time people stopped using the above company metioned. Nothing but a bunch of greedy, money hungry bastards that won't stand behind their work

  23. Amazing how much negativity is being said about a company that's been around since 1955. Not many in this area can say that. There are always 2 sides to every story. What you read is by far not gospel. Just sounds like a bunch of bored and jealous people gossiping about something and someone they know nothing about!!

  24. @3:52 that's funny right there. I would imagine there's a few previous employees that know the real Jeff Simpson. You cant go around riding on the tailcoat of what the founder did and call yourselves a success. Eventually Jeff's latest antics with all his infidelity will have to be addressed and I hope his ex-wife takes him to the cleaners. Yea he's a real upstanding citizen and a business representative with alot of class and integrity and character he is

    ReplyDelete
  25. @3:52 I've gotta chime in on this one, what exactly is there to be jeoulous of? Someone that basically has to be a slave to being on the road 24/7 7 days a week? The life of a truck driver is not something that is very appealing let alone all the time away from family just logging miles in a state of oblivion. Let's not even bring up the toll it takes on your total health

    ReplyDelete
  26. Man what exactly are you all smoking? The guy was on the verge of bankruptcy just a couple years ago. His poor father has spent tens of thousands of dollars in attorneys fees and had to pay 30,000 to finish off a home remodel. Yea that's the kind of life for me. You need to blow that shit out!!

  27. Once again people so jealous and ate up with it over someone who works non stop. Guess What yes Jeff was caught with weed yes he was associated with a murder in 1982. Tell me what he’s done in the past 5-6 years?? Also Simpsons Towing is a family business with multiple families supported in our community by it. Mine being one of them “SPEAR”. One person doesn’t make this business as successfully as we are. It’s hours and hours of hard work and sleepless nights away from our families. Jeff Simpson doesn’t own the company so that should answer your question as to why we are called to handle city police calls. I’ve dedicated my entire working life to making this business bigger and better may only be 18-20 years but still I carry my grandfather legacy as will my son. Haters gonna hate. Ignore them and they fade away. This is the only response I will post. To all of our loyal customers you know who we are and what we’re about. Thank you for 64 years! This year as every year will be great!

  28. I guess all of the people on here making personal comments about Jeff Simpson have never made any kind of mistakes in their life?? I am sure he is fully aware of his involvement in any of said situations and I am also certain that he has moved forward with his life as some of you probably should. Simpson's Towing is one of, if not the most reputable towing company in our community. The company is full of great people always willing to help. They sacrifice valuable time with their families to do what they do everyday. Most of you sitting behind your keyboard think/hope that your personal attack on Jeff/Simpson's Towing will make a negative impact on their business, however, it won't. Keep up the great work Simpson's!!

    1. Don’t think Jeff frequents the internet much. I don’t see why this post turned into a Jeff bashing session lol

  30. You're mistaking hatred and dislike for Jeff and what he has done to so many others for jealousy towards a business Bob Simpson built. There's a family on the Western shore that would give anything just to spend another day with their loved one but that's not possible.

  31. A wise man once said YOU can't consider yourself a success u until YOU double what your father left you!!

  32. @4:29 that's awesome right there. I had one of Salisbury's top businessmen tell me that same thing about 30 years ago. Damn if he didn't prove it he lost it all in a divorce and came back 3-4 times bigger than before. I'm not on here to dog the Simpson kid but there's alot of truth on here and for all he's done I don't think companies like PERDUE and the city of Salisbury should utilize his service when there are others that have done it right their entire lives. just my honest opinion and I'm entitled to that Josh Spears

  33. @8:06 oh Jeffrey was/is on the internet it just might not be "checking out websites or blogs" like this one. Don't even go there with all this denial and holier than though attitude and responses. It's been a freak show up until the last couple years and probably still is in a different way with his current "company"

  34. @8:06 from what I hear and have seen my good friend Jeffrey is in some of the best company he's ever been in and is doing A OK!
