GRAHAM WANTS A NEW SPECIAL COUNSEL
South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham called for a new special counsel at a Monday press conference that would look into the FBI and DOJ to see what led to the Russia investigation into President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Graham said he plans to ask Attorney General William Barr to set up a new special counsel to look into the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant process, saying he would like someone similar to special counsel Robert Mueller to lead the investigation.

Congressman Andy Harris’ Statement on Failed Veto Override
WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) made the following statement regarding his support of President Trump on the vote to override the President’s veto of a bill that would block his declaration of a national emergency:
“MS-13 gang violence, illegal smuggling of deadly drugs, and human trafficking are serious threats we need to address by securing our border. While Speaker Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez choose to side with open borders and amnesty, I stand with the American people and with President Trump to secure our border by supporting his veto. Our southern border needs security that includes physical barriers, and our border patrol must have adequate funds to do their job and protect Americans’ safety and national security. As long as MS-13 remains a serious problem in Maryland, I know that supporting comprehensive border security will help protect Maryland families against serious threats coming across our border illegally.”
County officials gather children’s feedback on Pirate’s Wharf playground concepts
SALISBURY, Md. – On Monday, Wicomico County Recreation & Parks officials visited Kids Klub After School at Westside Intermediate and the Westside Community Center Connections Mentoring Program to gather children’s feedback on playground concepts for the Pirate’s Wharf property.
Children were presented with two different playground concepts and asked to identify their favorite features and their favorite overall design.
“It was great to hear direct feedback from children in our community since they are the target audience for a potential playground at Pirate’s Wharf,” said Recreation, Parks & Tourism Director Steve Miller. “We wanted to engage them in the process. Their ideas were thoughtful, creative and a lot of fun.”
County officials are planning an additional focus group at the Kids Klub After School program in Delmar in early April.
The feedback will help shape the Pirate’s Wharf Park master plan.

OCPD’s Newest Officers Graduate from Carroll County Training Academy
OCEAN CITY, MD – On March 22, 2019, five new Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officers graduated from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy’s entrance level police academy class. The newest Ocean City officers are Officers Margaret Hall, Chelsea Kautz, Elaine Miller, Patrick Schob, and Jacob Street.
Officers were formally recognized as certified police officers of the OCPD after six months of intense training. Their fellow graduates stemmed from several law enforcement agencies throughout Maryland.
Officer Elaine Miller was appointed early on in the academy as the Class President and spoke at the graduation ceremony. Additionally, Officer Jacob Street earned an award for exceptional emergency vehicle operation.
“Each of our newest officers are former seasonal officers so we are excited to have them join us on a full-time basis,” commented Ocean City Police Chief Ross Buzzuro. “We know that they are very capable of serving the Ocean City community to meet our high standards.”
After graduation, the new officers enter a nine-week field training program. During this time, they will perfect the skills they have acquired in the police academy under the direct supervision of veteran OCPD field training officers. They will be routinely evaluated and critiqued on their performance and will train with the various patrol shifts that make up the OCPD.

PALESTINIAN CLERIC: “FRANCE WILL BECOME AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY THROUGH JIHAD”
In an address to Al-Aqsa mosque-goers, Palestinian cleric Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari said that France will become an Islamic state because it will mostly be inhabited by Muslims by 2050.
“France will become an Islamic country through jihad; the entire world will be subject to Islamic rule,” the cleric said.
Al-Dari said that this would happen because young European natives are not getting married, settling down and having children whereas Muslims have a high fertility rate and have lots of children.
“Muslims must have a country that will bring Islam….to the people of the west through jihad for the sake of Allah,” said Al-Dari.

CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION AND GENOCIDE IS WORSE NOW THAN “ANY TIME IN HISTORY,” REPORT SAYS
The persecution and genocide of Christians across the world is worse today “than at any time in history,” and Western governments are failing to stop it, a report from a Catholic organization said.
The study by Aid to the Church in Need said the treatment of Christians has worsened substantially in the past two years compared with the two years prior, and has grown more violent than any other period in modern times.
“Not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, but ever-increasing numbers are experiencing the very worst forms of persecution,” the report said.
The report examined the plight of Christians in China, Egypt, Eritrea, India, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Turkey over the period lasting from 2015 until 2017. The research showed that in that time, Christians suffered crimes against humanity, and some were hanged or crucified. The report found that Saudi Arabia was the only country where the situation for Christians did not get worse, and that was only because the situation couldn’t get any worse than it already was.

House fails to override Trump veto of his border emergency
The Democratic-controlled House fell short Tuesday in its effort to override President Donald Trump's first veto, handing him a victory in his effort to spend billions more for constructing barriers along the Southwest border than Congress has approved.
Lawmakers voted 248-181 in favor of overturning his veto, mostly along party lines, but that was 38 votes shy of the number needed for the required two-thirds majority.
The outcome, not a surprise, enabled Trump to move forward on an issue that was a hallmark of his 2016 presidential campaign and of his presidency. Yet the vote also gave Democrats a way to focus on policy differences with Trump, days after Attorney General William Barr gave the president a political boost by saying special counsel Robert Mueller had concluded that Trump had not colluded with Russia to influence his election.
Congress sent Trump a resolution this month annulling the national emergency that Trump had declared at the US-Mexico border. That included passage by the Republican-led Senate, in which 12 GOP senators — nearly 1 of every 4 — voted with Democrats to block him.

Off-duty police officer, 23, is shot dead while shielding his girlfriend in racially charged revenge attack by a man 'looking for a Hispanic person to attack after an argument'
A young Chicago off-duty police officer was gunned down in a parked car on Saturday in what police are describing as race-related revenge.
The man was looking for a Hispanic person to attack after a confrontation at a fast-food restaurant, the city's police chief said Monday.
'I guess he settled for the first Hispanic he saw,' Superintendent Eddie Johnson said.
Murder charges have been filed in the weekend slaying of John Rivera.
The 23-year-old was repeatedly shot while sitting in a car with friends, including his girlfriend, after visiting a pizza bar early Saturday in Chicago's River North area.

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT LOOKS TO END OBAMACARE COMPLETELY
The Department of Justice sided with a district court ruling Monday that found the Affordable Care Act violated the Constitution.
U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor issued the ruling in December 2018, finding that the Obamacare individual mandate had been rendered unconstitutional due to the partial repeal Republicans passed in 2017. The ruling has been appealed to higher courts, but the DOJ endorsement could cause the ACA to be treated as unconstitutional while the case moves through federal appeals process.
“The Department of Justice has determined that the district court’s judgement should be affirmed,” the department announced in a Monday letter.

TRUMP STOPS TAXPAYER-BACKED MORTGAGES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS
When Barack Obama implemented his unilateral amnesty for illegal aliens who claimed to have entered this country before the age of sixteen, the illegally amnestied illegals qualified for many benefits.
One of these were FHA loans.
FHA loans are government-backed mortgages meant for poorer Americans unable to qualify for normal mortgages. Democrat abuse of the FHA helped lead to the Great Recession and in the years afterward, FHA insured loans hit losses of $70 billion. By 2012, the FHA was $16 billion in the hole and had to be bailed out. The delinquency rate for FHA loans is still more than three times higher than normal loans, and depending on the period, have hovered between 8% and 14%. Time to bring in the illegal aliens.
When Obama illegally implemented DACA, a program exempting certain illegal aliens from government action, they were also allowed to apply for FHA loans. How many illegal aliens obtained FHA loans?
In December, a letter from three Senate Democrats claimed that HUD barred “approximately 800,000 individuals approved for DACA from FHA-insured mortgage loans”. This refers to the total number of DACA illegal aliens and it’s unknown how many of them have obtained FHA loans in past years.

CALIFORNIA SCHOOL DISTRICT FORCED TO DUMP CAIR’S ISLAMIC INDOCTRINATION PROGRAM
The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund forced an unprecedented lawsuit settlement on the San Diego Unified School District, which partnered with the terrorism-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations, requiring the district to shut down its discriminatory, unconstitutional “anti-Islamophobia initiative.”
The embattled CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in 2007 in an alleged criminal conspiracy to support both HAMAS and the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. In 2014 the United Arab Emirates designated CAIR a terrorist organization.
CAIR, which poses as a Muslim civil rights organization, falsely claimed that President Trump’s election caused a wave of attacks on Muslim students in the San Diego school district.
In fact, the discrimination ran the other way, against those who were not Muslim.

Resurrected Che Guevara Announces 2020 Run, Democrats Quickly Criticize As 'Too Moderate'
SANTA CLARA, CUBA—Is Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara too moderate for a 2020 run as a Democrat?
That's the question the left is asking after Guevara was resurrected by a leftist political action committee, Marxists for Equality, Socialism, and Stalinism. MESS activists arrived in Santa Clara earlier this week and summoned Guevara's spirit back from the dead using dark, demonic rituals, which are well-known to many Democrats. MESS then hastily photoshopped a birth certificate for Zombie Guevara so he would be eligible to run for president of the United States.
Guevara announced his run but was quickly denounced by many of his fellow candidates and other prominent Democrats.
"I'm just not sure Guevara is far enough left to be a viable Democratic candidate this election," said one political pundit on CNN. "He's really a centrist in the midst of this field of radical leftists, and we just don't think he's going to stand out this time."

Death threats, cancellations, investigations: Kathy Griffin says she would do it all again
If you decide you do not want to read this article about Kathy Griffin, the comedian wants you to know she'd understand. But for her part, Griffin has gotten pretty used to rejection from a certain segment of the U.S. population. "I'm Hanoi Jane, you know? I get it. This photo is gonna be with me forever, no matter what I do."
The photo, now infamous, was taken in 2017, and featured Griffin holding a mask of President Donald Trump dripping with what appeared to be fake blood. (It was actually ketchup.) "Well, I didn't have any fake blood. I usually don't stock it!" she laughed.
Griffin said the photo was meant as political satire, but that didn't stop all hell from breaking loose. The president reacted, tweeting: "Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11-year-old son Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!"

Hunt For Blue November: Democrats Would Sooner Destroy America Than Lose To Trump In 2020
With the likelihood of a Democratic candidate ousting Trump in 2020 looking like mission impossible, the party is resorting to a number of desperate and even dangerous tactics to steal as many voters as possible.
Perhaps the best way to gauge the desperation that has overrun the Democratic camp like kudzu in June is the frenzy that has greeted the arrival of Beto O’Rourke, the former lawmaker who recently announced his candidacy for the 2020 election. If the Liberals believed in God, their response to Beto’s arrival would rank up there with the Second Coming of Christ himself, entering stage left on a skateboard, hair trailing behind with a hint of hope and gunge polluting the air.
Perhaps in other less delusional periods of American history, Beto the marionette, who gesticulates as if his strings were being yanked by an epileptic after a tasing, would be seen for what he is. Exactly what that might be is hard to nail down, but it is certainly not presidential material. Yet the fact that so many Democrats and media have worked themselves into collective hysteria over this guy, whose most notable career moves to date are marrying an heiress, writing exceptionally bad poetry and losing to Ted Cruz in the Texas Senate race, speaks volumes as to how shallow the Democratic bench is, where a host of other unlikely players include Elizabeth ‘Pocohantas’ Warren and Bernie ‘the multi-millionaire Socialist’ Sanders. Then there is Joe Biden, 76, who didn’t need a leaker to spill the beans on his apparent intentions to run. He did it quite nicely all by himself. But one needn't focus on the Lefts dismal presidential choices; there are many other places to find examples of Democratic decline and degeneration.
The Hunt for Blue November
If ever there was a perfect symbol of the political schizophrenia dividing the nation straight down its frontal lobe, it’s the yet-to-be-built wall on the Mexico border.

Sheriff: Grandma Shoots Man Who Allegedly Attacks Her in Home
Arizona’s Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said a grandmother shot a man who allegedly forced his way into her home and attacked her.
The sheriff’s office reported that 42-year-old Gregory Hardy entered the home and demanded money, then grabbed both of her arms when she refused to comply.
The grandfather then confronted Hardy, allowing the grandmother time to get her handgun. She returned and told Harvey to leave, but he “advanced toward her.” She fired “a couple of times,” striking Hardy.

Victory doesn’t get any sweeter for the winners. Or more important for our country.
The results of the probe by special counsel Robert Mueller are a tremendous vindication for President Trump and the many millions of Americans who never doubted his innocence. The findings prove, once and for all time, that he won the 2016 election fair and square.
Let me repeat the point: It is now a fact beyond any doubt whatsoever that Donald Trump is the legitimate 45th president of the United States.
“Hail to the Chief,” this time with feeling.

Lindsey Graham Sounds Off on 'The Other Side of the Story'
Now that the Robert Mueller investigation is over and the special counsel has found no evidence of collusion between President Trump and Russia, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) wants to talk about "the other side of the story." At a press conference Monday, Graham said he wants answers about that suspicious FISA warrant the FBI used to spy on former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
The FISA warrant, he said, "is at a minimum disturbing." The FBI used the now infamous Christopher Steele dossier, which had not been corroborated, to obtain the warrant.
"Whether it’s illegal I don’t yet know," Graham said. Yet, he knows he's "going to get answers." Judging by one of his recent tweets, the senator, who serves as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, knows at least one former intelligence figure he's going to try to get them from.

Fed Judge Authorizes Judicial Watch to Depose Ben Rhodes IN PERSON After He Defies Court Order to Answer Written Questions Under Oath
Not. Tired. Of. Winning.
Another win for Trump supporters today!
On Monday, a federal judge authorized conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch to depose Obama’s speechwriter-turned-Iran-echo-chamber Ben Rhodes after he defied a court order to answer questions under oath.
-REWIND-
Obama hack Ben Rhodes was ordered by Judge Royce Lamberth to answer questions under oath about the Benghazi scandal — but last week he defied the court order.
Even worse, the State Department and Justice Department were objecting to Judicial Watch who then sought an in-person interview with Mr. Rhodes – but Judicial Watch never backed down and won!
In January, Judicial Watch submitted a court-ordered discovery plan seeking depositions of Obama-era officials connected to the Benghazi scandal, including Susan Rice and Ben Rhodes.

TRUMP RAGES: People Have Done ‘Evil Things, Very Bad Things … Treasonous Things Against Our Country’
In a brief pool spray in the Oval Office on Monday, Trump was asked by Jonathan Karl of ABC News: “Mr. President, did this not turn out to be a witch hunt after all?”
Trump launched into a brutal indictment of those who had investigated him and his team.
“It lasted a long time. We’re glad it’s over. It’s 100% the way it should have been. I wish it could have gone a lot sooner, a lot quicker. There are a lot of people out there that have done some very, very evil things, very bad things. I would say treasonous things against our country and hopefully that people that have done such harm to our country, we’ve gone through a period of really bad things happening,” the president said.

Trump launched into a brutal indictment of those who had investigated him and his team.

Yale rescinds first admission offer in national college admissions scandal
Yale University has rescinded its first admission offer following a wide-reaching $25 million college admissions scandal that resulted in the arrests of 50 people in six states.
In a Sunday interview with the Yale Daily News, Yale spokesman Tom Conroy said the university has hired outside counsel and begun an internal review, which so far resulted in one student having her acceptance rescinded. That student has not been identified.
Conroy said the university does not believe there are more students enrolled at Yale involved in the scandal.
Former Yale women’s soccer coach Rudy Meredith was arrested in the sweep. He was charged with two counts of wire fraud and allegedly accepted a $400,000 bribe to accept the application of an individual who did not even play the sport. Meredith resigned in November and was reportedly a cooperating witness for the FBI.

Comey in the crosshairs: Republicans to investigate the investigators who pursued Trump
Robert Mueller may be done with the subject of Russia and alleged collusion but Republicans are not.
Now that Mueller has reported there was no collusion and Attorney General William Barr has concluded Trump cannot be prosecuted for obstruction, Republicans want to turn their fire on those who initiated and fueled the 22-month investigation.
Last night, former FBI Director James Comey tweeted out a picture of himself standing in a forest with the caption: “So many questions.” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, responded: “Could not agree more. See you soon.” At a press conferenceMonday, Graham elaborated on what he meant, saying that there was a need to get more answers on why and how the DOJ and FBI investigated Trump.

MUELLER REPORT REVEALS TREASONOUS DEMS
40 FBI agents, 2800 subpoenas, 500 witnesses, 500 search warrants, 230 communications records, 50 wiretaps, 13 foreign government intelligence requests after 675 days and there is no collusion due to insufficient evidence of obstruction.
However, in broad daylight, the mainstream media and the Democratic Party colluded in an effort to impeach the duly elected President of the United States of America with fabricated evidence.
This attempted usurpation of power was committed in living color across the television screens of America, yet the Democrats are going all-in with their manufactured delusion.
This is the turning point.

The Mess at UMMS—Part I: Numerous red flags in University of Maryland Medical System contracting with board members’ firms
By Charlie Hayward
For MarylandReporter.com
Several board members of the University of Maryland Medical System have, in the words of Del. Ric Metzger at a hearing Friday, been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
Indeed, revelations over possible conflicts-of-interest (COI), self-dealing, and potential ethics violations involving the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and at least nine board members raise numerous red flags from an auditor’s perspective.
Taken together, these red flags indicate board members aren’t the only parties caught with their hands in the cookie jar because the potential exists for violations of laws or regulations (or even fraud) perpetrated both by board members and/or UMMS management.
While no such allegations have been made to date, three UMMS board members have resigned; as many as four others have taken leaves of absence; and the board has asked UMMS’ President and CEO Robert Chrencik to take a leave of absence effective March 25. These resignations and leaves of absence, however, don’t necessarily signify wrongdoing.

Legislation could bring prescription drug affordability board to Maryland
ANNAPOLIS, Md. —A prescription drug affordability board would be the first of its kind in the nation. However, the bill proposing it has changed. Instead of directly impacting every household, it now starts with state and local governments.
Taking to television airways to make the case to lower the cost of prescription drugs, a television ad is endorsing legislation to create a prescription drug affordability board. The board would regulate the cost of prescription drugs by setting limits on how much state and local governments pay for the medicine.
"You want to charge all this much for these drugs? Justify it," said Vinnie DeMarco, president of the Maryland Citizens Health Initiative.

VIDEO: The Liberal Media’s Most Embarrassing Mueller Failures
The Sunday afternoon letter from Attorney General Bill Barr on the Mueller report has rocked the political world and burst more than a few bubbles in the liberal media, most notably their years-long insistence that the President and/or his team colluded with Russia.
Some journalists have conceded this reality, while others are mimicking Japanese soldiers still fighting World War II in 1971.
MRC analysts dug into our video archives dating back to 2017 and the official launch of the Trump-Russia probe and found the wildest quotes that failed to stand the test of time. Check out the video for more examples as the quotes below are only a sampling of the individuals who might need a few hugs going forward.

Celebrities, Media And Democrats Meltdown Over Mueller Report
Over the weekend, as the news was revealed that the report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no collusion between President Trump and Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign, Democrats, celebrities and the media reacted with their usual fury at being denied an opportunity to bring down the president.
Celebrities had their moments of drama and utter idiocy. A couple of examples include singer/actress Bette Midler, who spoke of her “uncontrollable rage”: "#DonaldTrump has forced us to live through war as a nation for the last two years; he has caused depression, despair, confusion and death. We're not just sick at heart, but literally sick from him; from uncontrollable rage at the thought that he will get away with his crimes."

Congressman Andy Harris’ Statement on the Mueller Report
WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) made the following statement about the release of findings by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on the 2016 presidential campaign for President Trump:
“The United States government has spent two years, $25 million dollars, and a ridiculous amount of wasted time and energy on a special counsel that has officially exonerated the president from allegations of collusion with the Russian government during his 2016 presidential campaign. According to the Attorney General, there was no collusion between President Trump and the Russian government, and there was no obstruction of justice. Now it’s time to move on and take care of the things that the American people really care about, like the economy and border security.”

Baby boom! 9 nurses in Maine hospital's labor unit expecting at same time
PORTLAND, Maine —Maine Medical Center is about to have a baby boom.
Nine nurses who work at the hospital's labor and delivery unit are expecting babies in the next few months.
"After each one of us started to say, 'We're pregnant,' I think it was a happier announcement each time, and we're all there for each other," nurse Erin Grenier said.
All but one of the nurses posted a picture showing off their baby bumps. They are due between April and July.
