For months now, we’ve been told that Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails were permanently erased and destroyed beyond recovery. But newly released FBI notes strongly suggest they still exist in several locations — and they could be recovered, if only someone would impanel a grand jury and seize them.
In a May interview with FBI agents, an executive with the Denver contractor that maintained Clinton’s private server revealed that an underling didn’t bleach-clean all her subpoenaed emails, just ones he stored in a data file he used to transfer the emails from the server to Clinton’s aides, who in turn sorted them for delivery to Congress.
The Platte River Networks executive, whose name was redacted from the interview report, said PRN tech Paul Combetta “created a ‘vehicle’ to transfer email files from the live mailboxes of [Clinton Executive Services Corp.] email accounts [and] then later used BleachBit software to shred the ‘vehicle,’ but the email content still existed in the live email accounts.”

The FBI’s Dirty Hand
Russia-gate is becoming FBI-gate, thanks to the official release of unguarded text messages between loose-lipped FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and his garrulous girlfriend, FBI lawyer Lisa Page. (Ten illustrative texts from their exchange appear at the end of this article.)
Despite his former job as chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence section, Strzok had the naive notion that texting on FBI phones could not be traced. Strzok must have slept through “Security 101.” Or perhaps he was busy texting during that class. Girlfriend Page cannot be happy at being misled by his assurance that using office phones would be a secure way to conduct their affair(s).
It would have been unfortunate enough for Strzok and Page to have their adolescent-sounding texts merely exposed, revealing the reckless abandon of star-crossed lovers hiding (they thought) secrets from cuckolded spouses, office colleagues, and the rest of us. However, for the never-Trump plotters in the FBI, the official release of just a fraction (375) of almost 10,000 messages does incalculably more damage than that.

Ford's Self-Driving Test Car Severely Damaged In Crash
It’s never good news when an autonomous automobile is involved in an accident. Lately, Alphabet’s Waymo crashed an autonomous bus in Las Vegas, and Uber managed to flip a self-driving Volvo in Arizona.
In the latest installment of autonomous car accidents across America, a self-driving test car from the Ford-backed startup Argo-AI was severely damaged Wednesday that sent two people to the hospital.

Big Donors Buffett, Gates Should Worry As FBI Investigates Clintons' "Charity"
The revived FBI and continuing IRS investigations will eventually realize due diligence has been lacking from the start...
So the FBI is again investigating the “Bill, Hillary & Clinton Foundation.” That should make Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren Buffett, and other affluent Americans who have given to the Clinton Foundation wish they had asked more questions before writing those checks.
Here’s why: “Due diligence” doesn’t end when the Clinton “charities” cash your check.
The FBI agents and forensic accountants probing the Clinton Foundation must go all the way back to Oct. 23, 1997, and examine preciselyhow a public charity, organized to hold federal records of the Clinton presidency, somehow evolved by 2002 to “fight HIV/AIDS internationally,” plus a raft of additional tax-exempt purposes that were never properly authorized in the foundation’s Articles of Incorporation.

Three Key Questions about John McCain’s Role in Distributing the Hoax Trump Dossier
TEL AVIV — Recent disclosures raise significant questions about Sen. John McCain’s role in delivering the infamous, largely discredited 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump and Russia to the U.S. intelligence community under Barack Obama’s administration.
McCain’s office has not responded to numerous Breitbart News phone and email requests for comment seeking clarification on the issue.
Below, in no particular order, are three major, outstanding questions regarding McCain’s involvement in pushing the controversial dossier.
1 – Did McCain know about the role of the controversial Fusion GPS firm in compiling the dossier?
In August testimony released publicly last week, the co-founder of Fusion GPS revealed that an associate of McCain first reached out to Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled the questionable dossier, in order to obtain the anti-Trump information for McCain to pass to the FBI’s leadership.
In the August 22 testimony, Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn R. Simpson divulged that contact between Steele and McCain’s office was initiated by David Kramer, a former State Department official who was described by Simpson as a “long-time advisor to Senator McCain.”

Report: Nancy Pelosi Now a Lock for Speaker of the House in 2019
Axios.com’s Mike Allen reports that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is now considered a lock for Speaker of the House in 2019, as her party is expected to sweep the 2018 midterm elections.
If so, it would be one of the most remarkable comebacks in political history, after Pelosi led her party to an historic defeat in 2010 after serving as the first female Speaker for four years, then clung to power over a shrinking minority party for eight.
Allen notes: “It would take a flip of 24 seats for Dems to take over. The average loss for the president’s party in his first midterm is about 32 seats, and we’re hearing forecasts of 40+ losses.” He acknowledges, too, that the existing district map, and the past demographic patterns of voter turnout in midterm elections, favor the Republicans. But there are many signs of Democratic momentum, and many prominent Republicans have already retired their seats.

Breaking News: A former C.I.A. agent was arrested by the F.B.I. He is suspected of compromising agency informants in China, many of whom were killed.
The arrest of the former agent, Jerry Chun Shing Lee, 53, capped an intense F.B.I. investigation that began around 2012 after the C.I.A. began losing its informants in China. Mr. Lee was at the center of a mole hunt in which some intelligence officials believed that he had betrayed the United States but others thought that the Chinese government had hacked the C.I.A.’s covert communications used to talk to foreign sources of information.
Illinois Attorney General Candidate Robbed at Gunpoint During Chicago Campaign Stop
Illinois Attorney General candidate Aaron Goldstein (D) was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight during a campaign stop in Chicago on Thursday.
Four individuals with Goldstein were also robbed.
According to the Chicago Tribune, there were a total of three robbery suspects. Those included a gunman and two accomplices, all “between 20 and 24 years old.”
Goldstein was taking part in a photo shoot in Albany Park. The shoot was intended to capture him and the essence of the neighborhood. Campaign manager Robert Murphy said the campaign stop was part of an “in-the-neighborhood kind of” theme.

Government's Misconduct In Cliven Bundy Case Stems From Ruby Ridge
Federal judge Gloria Navarro slammed the FBI and Justice Department on Monday, Jan. 8, for “outrageous” abuses and “flagrant misconduct” in the prosecution of Cliven Bundy and sons, the Nevada ranchers who spurred a high-profile standoff with the FBI and Bureau of Land Management in 2014.
Navarro condemned the "grossly shocking” withholding of evidence from defense counsel in a case that could have landed the Bundys in prison for the rest of their lives. Navarro, who had declared a mistrial last month, dismissed all charges against the Bundys.

New California declares "independence" from rest of state
SACRAMENTO -- With the reading of their own version of a Declaration of Independence, founders of the state of New California took the first steps to what they hope will eventually lead to statehood. CBS Sacramento reports they don't want to leave the United States, just California.
"Well, it's been ungovernable for a long time. High taxes, education, you name it, and we're rated around 48th or 50th from a business climate and standpoint in California," said founder Robert Paul Preston.
The state of New California would incorporate most of the state's rural counties, leaving the urban coastal counties to the current state of California.
"There's something wrong when you have a rural county such as this one, and you go down to Orange County which is mostly urban, and it has the same set of problems, and it happens because of how the state is being governed and taxed," Preston said.

Death by Physician
The following information concerns the serious toxic effects of fluoroquinolone antibiotics – which include Bayer’s Cipro, Janssen’s Levaquin, Bayer’s Avelox, Merck’s Noroxin,Pfizer’s Trovan and the generic drug Ofloxacin.
The information outlined below is excerpted from three sources that I have only become aware of recently.
1) a 29-page FDA document that discusses fluoroquinolone antibiotic-caused peripheral neuropathy. The document can be found in its entirety here.
This document totally ignores the equally serious poisonous effects of fluoroquinolone drugs such as the antibiotic’s toxic effects on cellular mitochondria, which is the likely cause of the tendonopathies, neuropsychiatric disorders, chronic fatigue syndromes, muscular disorders, cardiomyopathies, cardiac dysrhythmias, neurodegenerative disorders, etc
2) Some of the information has been excerpted from here.
3) I also attach a relevant abstract from a 2001 British Medical Journal article aboutPfizer’s malfeasance in its testing of ts fluoroquinolone drug (Trovan) during a 1996 Nigerian meningitis epidemic.
I feel that such information about once popular prescription drugs – that have been deceptively advertised by Big Pharma as safe – is particularly important because I have been among the multitude of healthcare providers that were intentionally deceived by Big Pharma into believing their false claims of safety for any number of now-known to be dangerous vaccines, psych drugs, arthritis drugs, heart drugs, etc.

Are You One Of The 170 Million Americans Drinking Radioactive Tap Water?
According to a new bombshell report from the Environmental Working Group (EWG), tap water for more than 170 million Americans contains radioactive elements that may increase the risk of cancer. The group examined 50,000 public water systems throughout the United States and found from 2010 to 2015, more than 22,000 water utilities reported radium in treated water.
Radiation in tap water poses serious health threats, particularly for children, and women during pregnancy.
The most common radioactive element the EWG found was radium. Studies show that radium above the EPA legal limit may cause depression of the immune system, anemia, cataracts, fractured teeth, and of course cancer.
Radium is a naturally occurring radioactive element that resides on the earth’s crust. The EWG emphasizes that higher radium levels in tap water occur when uranium mining or oil and gas drilling exploration companies disturb the earth’s geology. The process triggers radiation called “ionizing because it can release electrons from atoms and molecules, and turn them into ions,” explained the EWG. The EPA warns that all ionizing radiation is carcinogenic, implying that radium above the EPA limit is all too prevalent in America and it could be causing lots of cancer.
In 158 public water systems serving some 276,000 Americans in 27 states, the EWG found that radium exceeded the federal legal ceiling for radium-226 and radium-228.
The EWG’s Tap Water Database covers six radioactive contaminants, including radium, radon, and uranium. The database shows radium-226 and radium-228 are the two most common forms of radiation in every state.
The EWG expresses frustration with the 41-year old federal drinking water standards that are not designed to protect human health. New public health goals were set in 2006 by the California Office of Environmental Hazard Assessment, but have been widely overlooked by the federal government.

Wheelchair athlete honoured for rock climb
Wheelchair-bound Lai Chi-wai could be the first Chinese athlete to win the Laureaus World's Best Sporting award, after he was nominated for climbing Hong Kong's Lion Rock.
Lai Chi-wai, the first Chinese athlete to be nominated for the Laureaus World's Best Sporting award, hopes his success will inspire both athletes with disabilities and Chinese people that there are no limits to pursuing your dreams.
A four-time champion of the Asian Rock Climbing Championships and the world's first Chinese winner of the X-Game's extreme sports, 35-year-old Lai had a bright career ahead of him until a car accident left him paralysed hip down in 2011.
Despite his physical limitations, Lai pushed on, trying a range of wheelchair sports including boxing, fencing and table tennis. But nothing could replace his love for rock climbing,.
"To me climbing to the top was accomplishing a dream of mine and it also - by climbing the mountain - meant that I could show to my friends and supporters that I have overcome one of the lowest points in life: even though I'm in a wheelchair I can challenge other sports and still be able to do what I love most," Lai told Reuters.

One Dead And Three Injured After Driver Flees Attempted Traffic Stop In Stolen Vehicle In Harford County
(Havre De Grace, MD) – One person is dead and three are injured after driver flees an attempted traffic stop in a stolen vehicle in Harford County.
The identities of the four individuals in the vehicle have not yet been confirmed and are pending next of kin notification. The driver of a stolen blue 2005 Subaru Outback was pronounced deceased at Harford Memorial Hospital. The three passengers are receiving medical treatment at area hospitals for injuries sustained in the crash.
Shortly before 9:00 p.m. tonight, a Maryland state trooper from the North East Barrack activated his emergency equipment in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop on a blue 2005 Subaru Outback on eastbound Route 40 at Landing Lane in Elkton in Cecil County. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Baltimore City. The driver of the Subaru refused to stop, made a u-turn and continued westbound on Route 40 traveling at a high rate of speed.
As the driver approached westbound Route 40, east of Mechanic Valley Road, the trooper broke away from the pursuit. The driver slowed at the red light and continued westbound on Route 40, west of Route 272, where shortly thereafter, another trooper attempted a traffic stop. Again, the driver failed to stop and accelerated away.
Stop sticks were successfully deployed in two different locations in the Perryville area in an attempt to slow the vehicle down. With two flat tires, the driver continued to drive westbound on Route 40 across the Hatem Bridge. As the driver crossed into Harford County, he lost control and struck a light pole in the median, disabling the vehicle at westbound Route 40 and Ostego Street in Havre de Grace.
Emergency medical personnel responded and immediately rendered aid. Two of the passengers were transported to Christiana Memorial Hospital. One passenger was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Harford Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Ford says some Rangers should be parked due to air bag death
Ford is telling owners of about 2,900 Ranger small pickup trucks not to drive them after finding out that an exploding Takata air bag inflator killed a Ranger driver in West Virginia.
The death occurred July 1 in West Virginia, and Ford said it found out about it in December. After some investigation, the company determined that the truck's inflator was made on the same day as one that exploded and killed a South Carolina man in 2016. So the company issued the urgent new recall for Rangers with inflators made on the same day.

"We take this matter very seriously and are advising owners of these specific 2006 Ford Rangers to stop driving their vehicles so dealers can make repairs immediately," Ford said in a statement Thursday.
Dealers will repair the trucks at owners' homes or tow them to dealerships for the work, spokeswoman Elizabeth Weigandt said. The company also will offer loaner vehicles if needed.
The West Virginia death is the second involving a Ranger and the 21st worldwide caused by Takata inflators.

WATCH: Lindsey Graham Said In 2013 That Not Everyone In ‘Hellholes’ Can Come To U.S.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on Friday that he scolded President Donald Trump over alleged remarks that he made about "s***hole" countries on Thursday — which is ironic considering Graham made a similar statement in 2013 about Latin American nations.
During a 2013 Senate panel meeting, Graham referred to Mexico and other countries that are flooding the United States with illegal aliens as “hellholes.”
“I don’t know how many security people we have along the Canadian border — I doubt it’s 21,000,” Graham said. “Why are we okay up there and not okay to the south?”

The Real Demo/MSM 'S—thole' Agenda
Four days of outrage is all part of a bigger strategy to derail immigration reform.
Democrats and their MSM PR outlets have spent the last four days feigning outrage over a report by Jeff Bezos’ tabloid, The Washington Post, regarding an alleged and disputed remark by Donald Trump. You know the one…
As an update to our Friday post, “The Uncensored President and Press,” here is the real takeaway about that spurious claim, and the intended political result.
It was CNN that blew up this unverifiable claim, mentioning or displaying the word “s—thole” no less than 40 times last Thursday. Predictably, Anderson Cooper then set up the Democrats’ “racist” claim: “The president of the United States is tired of so many black people coming to this country.” CNN’s Chief Washington Correspondent and anchor, Jake Tapper, then ratcheted up the race-bait rhetoric: “You know who loved the [quote]? Racists. Racists such as David Duke [and] Richard Spencer [and] the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer…”
The rest of the mainstream media outlets then propagated the report and racist assertion as a matter of fact — just in time to coincide with upcoming MLK Day observances.
But on Friday morning, Tapper posted a “clarification,” which you have most likely not read:

Pelosi: ‘Companies Giving Bonuses After Tax Cut Are PATHETIC, It’s INSIGNIFICANT!’
Answering questions at her weekly press conference, Nancy Pelosi took time to insult all of the companies that have announced bonuses and salary raises for their employees in the wake of the Trump tax cuts.
The Democratic House Minority Leader from California showed her true nature as a snake who doesn’t care if Americans get a better deal if it’s the Republicans and the Trump White House who deliver it.
So far, several big companies with employee numbers in the tens of thousands have announced bonuses and wage increases as a direct response to the Tax Cut And Reform Bill which was passed just before Christmas. The most recent announcement has been from Walmart who told media that employees who have been with their company would be eligible for a $1,000 bonus and less experienced employees would receive smaller amounts. They also announced financial help for employees who adopt children, saying that the tax reform bill gives them “the opportunity to be more competitive globally and to accelerate plans for the U.S.” by allowing them to invest in their staffers.
Pelosi was asked by a reporter asked her to respond to the “number of companies” who said that the new tax structure was the reason they would be handing down goodies, to which she replied that:
“The number of bonuses that were given, one of the bonuses was already in a union contract, and they added a little more money to that.”

Parents Protest, Fight Iranian Guards over Imprisonment of Protesters
Videos have surfaced of Iranian parents protesting outside of Iran’s Evin Prison, some setting up encampments and confronting police, in defense of individuals arrested for protesting in the past two weeks.
A man in the video can be heard saying, in Farsi, “Parents have set up tents and are waiting to find out what the fate of their children will be.”
Despite the Islamic regime’s attempts to stifle and shut down the people’s uprising and calls for freedom by shutting down access to crucial social media platforms used by Iranians to communicate, like Telegram and Instagram, platforms like Twitter are being used to push the truth and keep the momentum going.
On Wednesday, security forces and protesters—including parents of detained protesters—reportedly clashed outside Evin prison indicating the end of these protests is far from over.

Breaking News: Stephen Bannon has been subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury as part of the special counsel's investigation into Russian meddling
Stephen K. Bannon, President Trump’s former chief strategist, was subpoenaed last week by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, to testify before a grand jury as part of the investigation into possible links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.
The move marked the first time Mr. Mueller is known to have used a grand jury subpoena to seek information from a member of Mr. Trump’s inner circle. The special counsel’s office has used subpoenas before to seek information on Mr. Trump’s associates and their possible ties to Russia or other foreign governments.

Son of Democrat Congressman: ‘Coming Out as a Republican Worse Than Coming Out Gay
Adam Levine, a writer for the Federalist and the son of a Democratic congressman, claimed in an article this week that it was harder to come out as a Republican than it was to come out gay.
“I am not a sex offender. But a number of my friends no longer have time to see me,” declared Levine in the article. “Lifelong acquaintances now regard me with fear and distrust. I have been un-friended en masse on social media and excoriated by friends who deign to remain. And I have been singly excluded from social gatherings when the rest of my family was invited.”
“No, I am not a sex offender. I am something even worse than that. I am a Donald Trump supporter,” he proclaimed. “I was raised in a liberal Jewish family in Washington DC, where my dad served as a Democratic congressman for Los Angeles. Accordingly, I was indoctrinated with all of the correct values and views.” Adam’s father, Mel Levine, served in Congress from 1983 to 1993.
Levine claimed that growing up, he “learned the black national anthem before I knew the ‘Star Spangled Banner’,” and when he “came out” as gay to his family at the age of 20, they “were duly overjoyed.”
When he came out as a Republican, however, his life quickly changed.
“I did not even bother going to gay pride because it was fused with a Resist march. If you do not want to impeach our president, you have no place in gay life,” Levine claimed. “I was labeled a white supremacist by a friend I’ve known my entire life, and completely dropped with no explanation by another dear friend and self-anointed giant of the gay civil rights movement to whom my father had introduced me 15 years ago.”

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau scolds pro-lifers as ‘not in line’ with society
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says anyone who disagrees that there is a right to abortion is “not in line” with “where we are as a society.”
The remark was prompted at a town hall in Hamilton, Ontario, on Wednesday by an audience member who asked where the government draws the line on free speech.
Mr. Trudeau said “defending rights and freedoms” is a core Canadian value, BuzzFeed News reported, but said the issue of abortion presents particular difficulties.
“An organization that has the explicit purpose of restricting women’s rights by removing rights to abortion, the right for women to control their own bodies, is not in line with where we are as a government and quite frankly where we are as a society,” Mr. Trudeau responded.
Canada recently made changes to its Summer Jobs program, which funds placement in non-profit and public-sector jobs, requiring applicants to adhere to progressive views on abortion and gay rights.

Sen. Rand Paul: President Trump Cares ‘Deeply’ About Haiti, Financed Medical Mission Trip
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday that charges of bigotry against President Donald Trump remain unfounded because the president previously financed a 2014 medical mission to Haiti.
Paul said on Meet the Press, “I think it’s unfair to sort of paint him, ‘oh well, he’s a racist,’ when I know for a fact that he cares very deeply about the people of Haiti because he helped finance a trip where they would get vision back for 200 people in Haiti.”
President Trump stoked controversy recently as he reportedly called Haiti and other African countries “sh!thole countries.”
Trump allegedly said, “Why are we having all these people from sh!thole countries come here?” The president reportedly then added that America should have more people from Norway and other similar countries come to the United States.
The 45th president repeatedly rebuked reporters on Sunday after they asked him if he was a bigot.

Big Pharma's Big Advertising
That "scientific aura" really moves the merchandise
TV advertising and magazine advertising---sometimes 2 to 3 standard pages for a single drug---is expensive. So why do the drug manufacturers do it? Simple-- because it is effective. Advertising experts carefully construct their ads for a specific TV audience or reader. Evening news watchers are subjected to an array of ads aimed at older citizens for the treatment of many health problems, especially the big ones----heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's and cancer----problems of this older generation that is most apt to tune in.
Sports watchers are subjected to a quite different set of ads. You don't see ads for the benefits of adequate doses of essential nutrients -- because they can't be patented and in most cases they work better than drugs in treating progressive diseases.
Remarkably, the evening news drug ads all have the same format. A trade name and the generic name are presented, both of which have a clever scientific ring to them. In lay terms, we are told what the drug is expected to do. Then a new, gentler, soothing voice that is many decibels softer chimes in announcing the adverse effects. All through the laundry list of adverse effects, we witness the recipient of the drug exhibiting tremendous enthusiasm for life as he/she partakes in fun things like parties or picnics and the most popular, romping with the family dog.
Steven Colbert writing in the Reader's Digest offered this: "Sometimes I wish I had more health problems, because the people in pharmaceutical ads have more picnics than I do."

Obama Just Got Humiliated- Courtesy Of University Of Chicago!
So far, more than 100 faculty members at the University of Chicago have voted to ask the Obama Foundation to step off.
The faculty are pushing against the proposed library to honor the 44th President because the plan as it currently stands is “socially regressive.”
According to the professors who are refusing the plan, they say that they proposed Obama Presidential Center will not be capable of providing the “promised development or economic benefits” to its surrounding neighborhood and on top of that, it will cost over $100 million in taxpayer money taken from the state. If this isn’t the perfect metaphor for the net effect of eight years of President Obama, then I don’t know what is. In a letter sent by the professors explaining their position, they say that they are concerned that investments into the Obama Center are “not the best ways to use public funds” when it comes to the overall future of Chicago.

Delingpole: Trump – Making the World Great Again, One Sh!thole at a Time
Isn’t it just the best thing that we’ve finally got a President of the USA who calls a sh#thole a sh#thole?
In fact of all Donald Trump’s many qualities, I think this may be his greatest and his most underrated strength.
But you’re not supposed to say this. At least not in respectable company. Even now – after all his incredible achievements – you’re still only allowed to praise Donald Trump if first you’ve preceded it with lots of disclaimers about how much you deplore his sexism, his brashness, his incoherence and general uncouthness…
I’m not buying that virtue-signalling crap, though.
Check out this short film I made on Trump for the BBC this week:

INDICTED! Democrat Used Sandy FEMA Funds For “Vacations And Her Lingerie”
Pamela Harris, an assemblywoman for the State of New York, has also been charged with wire fraud, false statements, bankruptcy fraud as well as witness tampering and the obstruction of justice. Initial court documents indicate that when the investigation into Harris began, she urged possible witnesses to lie to the FBI agents who were conducting interviews. In total, she is charged with stealing $60,000.
Harris, 57, has allegedly bilked almost $25,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency fund to help victims of the 2012 Hurricane Sandy, and local papers are reporting that she spent the money on vacations, cruises and buying lingerie at Victoria’s Secret.

FBI, DOJ Argue for Dismissal of Suit About Garland, Texas Attack
The FBI and the Department of Justice are arguing for a liability case against them to be dismissed, while at the same time admitting to key details surrounding the bureau's involvement in the 2015 terrorist attack on the "Draw Muhammad" event in Garland, Texas.
In that attack, the first in the United States for which ISIS claimed responsibility, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, drove to the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland in a car loaded with six guns and over a thousand rounds of ammunition.
The two men opened fire when they were stopped at a perimeter checkpoint. A security guard, Bruce Joiner, was shot in the leg and the two attackers were killed just yards away from where the shooting began.
Joiner filed suit last October, claiming the FBI was partially responsible for his injuries. His suit argues the bureau "solicited, encouraged, directed and aided members of ISIS in planning and carrying out the May 3 attack," and is asking for just over $8 million damages.

Warren Makes It All About Trump At Boston’s Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast
BOSTON — Massachusetts U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren took her war of words with President Donald Trump to Monday’s breakfast honoring civil rights icon Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., using her opportunity to speak before a Boston Convention & Exhibition Center crowd brimming with top Massachusetts Democrats to label the commander-in-chief a “racist bully.”
According to a Boston Globe report, Warren claimed Americans “face the challenge of an openly racist president of the United States” and added that Trump “is a racist bully, and we know how to deal with bullies.
“We do not back down. We do not shut up. We fight back. And no matter what they throw at us, nevertheless, we persist.”
Warren’s reference to persistence was a not-so-subtle reminder of her actions last February, when she used her time on the Senate floor to tear into then-fellow Senator Jeff Sessions after the Alabama Republican was nominated to lead the Justice Department. Republicans voted to silence Warren for breaking Senate rules that forbid disputing the honesty and integrity of another senator. Warren had read aloud a letter that King’s widow, Coretta Scott King, had submitted to the Senate in 1986.
At that time of Mrs. King’s letter, Sessions was a U.S. attorney for the state of Alabama being considered for a federal judgeship, pending a Senate vote. King’s letter was highly critical of Sessions. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) uttered the phrase “nevertheless, she persisted,” referring to warnings issued to Warren about breaking Senate rules.
McConnell’s words quickly became a catchphrase for feminists, with Warren using the admonishment as a fund-raising tool.

Trump Administration Plans To Help States Implement Work Requirements for Medicaid
The Trump administration has announced plans to help states implement work requirements for Medicaid.
The guidance says states should promote programs that will better Medicaid beneficiaries' physical, mental, and emotional health while helping them and their families rise out of poverty and gain independence.
"CMS will support state efforts to test incentives that make participation in work or other community engagement a requirement for continued Medicaid eligibility or coverage for certain adult Medicaid beneficiaries in demonstration projects authorized under section 1115 of the Social Security Act," the agency states.
The agency suggests that community engagement and feeling productive at work can promote wellness, and having a higher income is positively associated with a longer lifespan. Other studies find that unemployment is related to poorer health, higher mortality, poorer mental health, and higher hospital admission rates.

Fired Newspaper Editor Shows How To Save America
If America is to be healed of its ills it’s going to take people challenging leftist absurdities in public, even if they suffer for doing so.
Denis Finley, recently the executive editor of The Burlington Free Press in Vermont, did just that. He got fired for it last week by Gannett Company, the national corporation that owns the newspaper.
How’d it happen?
Earlier this month Finley came upon a tweet praising a proposal in Vermont to create a “third gender” for Vermont driver’s licenses as “awesome.”
Three tweets later, he was out of a job. Here they are:
1.
“Awesome! That makes us one step closer to the apocalypse.”
One “third gender” supporter said he likes the driver’s license idea because it provides “recognition.”
Finley responded:
2.
“All recognition? Any recognition, Tim? What if someone said it’s awesome they are going to recognize pedophiliacs on licenses? I’m not being snarky, I’m just asking. Not all recognition is awesome.”
Then someone asked if Finley thinks the world is coming to an end, since he used the word “apocalypse.”

Ivana Trump: Donald Trump a ‘stable genius,’ ‘definitely not racist’
President Trump’s first wife Ivana Trump said Monday that her ex-husband is sharp as a tack, and while he may say “silly” things from time to time, he is “definitely” not the racist many in the media are painting him to be.
Appearing on the U.K.’s “Good Morning Britain” TV show, Ms. Trump was asked to weigh in on the president’s comments during last week’s Oval Office meeting on immigration, in which he allegedly referred to Haiti and African nations as “sh—hole countries.”
“I don’t think Donald is racist at all,” Ms. Trump stated. “Sometimes he says things which are silly or he doesn’t really mean them or something like that, but he’s definitely not racist. I’m sure of that.”
The press “change every word” the president says and spin whatever comes out of his mouth to fit their agenda, she argued.

Alveda King: Trump Is Not Racist, Blacks Benefit From His Presidency
Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece threw her support behind President Donald Trump on Monday, defending him against accusations of racism.
"I do not believe President Donald John Trump is a racist. The economy's up. Jobs are up in the black community. There is great promise to get a lot of people who have been unfairly incarcerated out," King told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Last month, black unemployment fell to its lowest rate since records began in 1972, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
"The president is working for America, period, as he is draining the swamp. And African-Americans are benefiting. Our jobs are going up. Our unemployment is going down.

City of Calgary Cancels ‘Family Friendly’ Nude Swimming Event
The City of Calgary has cancelled a “family friendly” nudist swimming event after thousands of people signed a petition claiming that the event would attract child sex predators.
Over 20,000 people signed the online petition calling for the event to be cancelled despite organisers saying they would be going ahead with the “Naked Waterslides and Wave Pool” event, the Calgary Herald reports.
The event was organised by the Calgary Nude Recreation group who released a statement on Facebook regarding the petition saying: “There are no nude beaches anywhere near Calgary, so this is the only place we get to have non-sexual naked fun with like-minded individuals. We recognise and are OK with the fact that these events are not suitable for everyone.”
“Calgary Nude Recreation events will ALWAYS be family friendly, regardless if there are children present or not, and the people attending this event understand that,” the group added.

On Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Democrats Use Racism with Impunity
Last week, an American political leader used race explicitly in an effort to win a policy debate over immigration. It was not President Donald Trump, whose alleged reference to “sh*thole countries” was, at worst, racist by inference.
(He allegedly compared immigrants from Norway and Africa to argue for a merit-based immigration system, which was spun by critics as an attempt to draw racial distinctions. He had met Norway’s prime minister the day before.)
Rather, the explicit reference to race came from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who told her weekly news conference that the people negotiating about a deal on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program were “five white guys.”
Pelosi’s exact words were: “The five white guys I call them, you know,” adding: “Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?”
Her racist remarks were met with very little resistance.
House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) later told Politico: “That comment is offensive.” But Pelosi’s office retorted that she “has made similar comments during meetings with both [Hoyer and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL)] this week, without complaints.”
And, no doubt, she has. Because when Democrats use racism to drive their political agenda, it is not only tolerated, but encouraged. They are presumed to have the broader public interest in mind.

Hogan Administration Takes Action to Help Small Businesses Comply With Flawed Paid Sick Leave Bill
Executive Order Creates Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance; Governor Continues to Push Compromise Legislation
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today issued Executive Order 01.01.2018.04 creating the Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance to assist small businesses in complying with House Bill 1 (HB1), the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act, passed by the Maryland General Assembly over the governor’s veto. As stipulated in the Maryland Constitution under Article II, Sec. 24, the Maryland General Assembly has 50 days to consent or pass a resolution of disapproval.
“We all agree that hardworking Marylanders need and deserve access to paid leave, and our administration is committed to providing these benefits to workers without crushing small mom-and-pop businesses and killing thousands of jobs,” said Governor Hogan. “Now that legislators have openly admitted that there are serious problems with the bill that they passed, I hope we can all come together to find real, common sense solutions. In the meantime, it is our responsibility to use every tool at our disposal to ensure that our small businesses can continue to create good jobs for thousands of Marylanders.”
The order reorganizes state government to create the Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance, directs the Governor’s Business Ombudsman Randall Nixon to serve as Executive Director, and moves employees from the Office of Small Business Resources under the Department of Commerce to staff the new office. The office will be housed and report directly to Secretary Kelly Schulz within the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, the agency tasked with promulgating regulations for the new law.
“A strong and healthy workforce benefits all Marylanders, and the Hogan administration is committed to expanding access to paid leave for workers,” said Nixon. “The Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance stands ready to help businesses provide these benefits for their employees while ensuring they can continue to grow Maryland’s economy and create jobs.”
Immediately upon establishment of the office, Nixon contacted the over 1,000 small businesses and workers who previously provided their information to the governor’s Committee on Paid Leave Policy in order to solicit their input and provide a venue to address their concerns. He also contacted every member of the Maryland General Assembly, asking them to refer any small businesses in their districts now being mandated to comply with the new law.
