MDE, get yourselves out of the offices and the air conditioned pickup trucks and do some extensive sampling of water and soil in the area. Yes, it's a big area, but you're a big organization. And if you asked nicely, the feds might even send you some help, considering that it's around federal waterways and that it's about the national bird.
