    Sometimes it is and other times arrest is warranted. At 3:26am there is a good chance the driver should not have been driving. At 8:47pm the driver may have had a couple drinks at dinner and been slightly over .08 but not a hazard. Remember it was .10 and lowered to .08. So is .09 really too drunk to drive?

    As stated earlier, revenue enhance at it's finest!!!
    Next thing they will do, is arrest you for suspected drug use if you are stopped for distracted driving. Revenue enhancement in the name of safety. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

    The new season is upon us, cruisers come in this weekend in OC (and the Preakness festivities), then June bugs...the "Log for Press" should show signs of increased participation!

    Clear and measurable impairment begins at a .04 BAC. DUI DO NOT make the state a dime and only cost money to prosecute, jail and supervise. So get off it.

      People pay court costs and large fines. Also, you pay probation fees each month to cover those supervision costs. 95% of the time there is no jail time so no cost there

    25 year old screws up their life because they didn't have enough sense to call a cab. No cab fare ever outweighs career choices for the rest of one's lifetime.
