Sports network ESPN is yanking NFL legend Mike Ditka from its marquee football show "Sunday NFL Countdown," giving him an "unspecified emeritus-type NFL role at the network," sports website The Big Lead reports.
Matt Hasselbeck and Charles Woodson will take over for the exiting Ditka and former first overall pick Keyshawn Johnson.

What about free speech? ESPN is low class and disgusting. Vote Trump. Mike Ditko is a role model and hero to me.
ReplyDeleteGood for him God forbid if a man voices his beliefs. This country has gone to S•••
ReplyDelete7:04 It's not free speech when someone is paying you to say what they told you to say. The sad issue here is that ESPN just can't handle the truth. I have now lost all respect for ESPN just like I lost respect for Mitt Romney. They still don't get it that Americans have had enough of the PC crap.
ReplyDeleteExactly!! What about Free Speech?! It's Sad!!
ReplyDeleteBoycott espn
ReplyDeleteToo bad ESPN won't let real opinions be broadcast. What about the next game picks? Better toss them out as well and fire anyone who dares to do them!
ReplyDeleteAnd this my friends is why Obama has not been impeached, say anything against the King and you lose.
ReplyDeleteFree speech is gone
ReplyDeleteSince Obama has been in office there has been more protests than ever but people give him 50% rating? I think its media bs.
ReplyDeleteUh huh...wonder what they'd do if Stephen A Smith endorsed someone.
ReplyDeleteLittle by little our rights are be dwindled down, speak whats on your mind and you may lose your job next it will be jail! This PC crap is just a slow way to remove your constitutional freedoms a little bit here and there till they have been removed totally before you realize it!

ReplyDeleteDisney owns ESPN and ABC; call Comcast which owns NBC and cancel. Easy to do. Bonus: You'll have lots of time for more productive stuff and you'll be whacking them with what they pay attention to, the revenue.
Does anybody even watch espn anymore?
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching ESPN when the started their PC crap.
ReplyDeleteYea Stephen A Smith did it for me wonder if he even understands half the words he spits out. PURE!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is free speech. Ditka is free to say whatever he wants, and ESPN is free to refuse broadcasting his commentary. What's wrong here?
ReplyDeleteAny business has the right to get rid of an employee for any reason whatsoever. He knew the rules when he took the job & he chose to violate the rules.
ReplyDeleteESPN sucks with their all BS shows. Mike will show back up on a real network soon!
