I cannot believ that otherwise, seemingly intelligent people are intending to vote for this man. How we gonna pay for his platform?

ReplyDeleteThose aren't trees, they're the increased taxation on the wealthiest among us (including the military industrial complex, the prison industrial complex, the pharmaceutical monopolies and big-oil).

ReplyDeleteThey are voting for him because he is acknowledging the problems with this country that no one else will. It is a good thing that he is running because he is changing the conversation.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, democratic socialism is a myth. You will end up with some majority voting for the Government to steal from some minority. The winner of an election will be the guy promising to "give away" the most stuff, but the government has NOTHING to give that they didn't take from someone else.
Despite what Hillary says, his math on a single-payer Medicare for all system is a lot better than the Obamacare mess. He is much more a friend to the middle class than she is or Obama is. Both of them see squeezing the middle out of existence as the way to go.
