Yep, remember it well, but heck we didn't care if it was hot, we were outside playing so learned to avoid it when it was too hot. Those were the days when you went out in the morning and knew what time you better be home for dinner.
I was born in 1970, so i had my formative years in the late 70s and early 80s. Couldnt have been a better time to be a kid! Not so sure about the world my 14 year old daughter is coming up in now though.

ReplyDeleteLOL @ Gary Bullard. My friend's mother used to hide it from us. I'm not sure it even helped but it sure kept us busy for a while.

ReplyDeleteBack then, you wore enough clothes to cover your butt. Unlike some of the clothes kids wear now. That way you could slide easier and not get burnt.
