Neil Armstrong's Burial At Sea

The following photos are of the burial at sea of Astronaut and Naval Aviator Neil Armstrong last Friday. The ship, the USS Philippine Sea, CG-58, is a guided missile cruiser and performed the service. NASA shared these images of Neil Armstrong's burial service Friday aboard the USS Philippine Sea.

    Nothing more impressive and honorable than a military burial. there is the highest respect paid and demonsrated, Godspeed, Neil! You are now in Heaven, and we all thank you to have had you be a part of our lives!
