  5. No. I believe cutting his and other MD politicians' salaries, pensions, expenses, etc. would be a GREAT alternative that MD residents would approve of.

  10. I don't like to see any tax increase--who does?--but an additional percent is easier to take than all the other proposes taxes, such as ten cent more per gallon for gas.

  14. NO cut the fat at the top of the chain. He just raised fuel taxes. now sales tax...really. I wish I could get more in my paycheck whenever I spent too much.

  15. Let me get this straight, he wants to raise the sales tax again and at the same time pass along pension expenses to the counties.What are we getting for the extra tax? Nothing.What am I missing here?

  16. It just went up 20% a couple years ago. What did that get us? Cuts to local government and passing off the teachers pensions to the counties. No, No, NO

  17. No, Md needs a salary review of all upper level management. When O'Malley gets the ok to raise "just 1 tax" it is always following by more!

  20. I stopped buying any big ticket items like new appliances, lawn equipment, etc since the tax increase to 6%.

  21. Absolutely Not! O'Malley is as good of an example of a big tax and spend liberal that there is.

    He has no clue on how to turn Maryland around and make it a more competitive state.

    My hope is that some day the voters of Md will wake up and realize the liberal approach and ideolgy to governing is a failure.
