ROCKVILLE, Md. - A published report says black students in the D.C. area are suspended and expelled two to five times as often as white students, and the trend can be seen in both the Maryland and Virginia suburbs and inner city Washington.
The Washington Post reports that its analysis found that in the suburbs alone, more than 35,000 students were suspended or expelled from school at some point last school year - more than half of them black students.

the large majority of their students are black, what do they expect.
ReplyDeleteStudies show that an unstable family life is much more likely to result in behavior problems in school, and one-parent families are much more prevalent among blacks.
ReplyDeleteso i guess someone is sure to call this racism. NO it's not racism; it's "if the shoe fits, wear it".
ReplyDeleteif you need to be suspended; you need to be suspended. i don't care if you're purple. bad behavior and poor choices have consequences. get it?
No S^%T
ReplyDeleteMaybe they are the ones who do things to warrant a suspension?
ReplyDeleteSounds like the story a couple of years ago claiming that New Jersey cops were "disproportionatly" ticketing blacks for speeding.
ReplyDeleteThen they conducted a study were they put hidden speed cameras on the highways. The result was that the blacks were speeding disproportionatly.
Go figure
Becaise of the sheer stats and Oh btw, they are 20 times more disruptive ... so they should be 6 times more apt to be suspended. Same for Wicomico county. Has nothing to do with race, just poor behavior.
ReplyDeleteQuit embracing violence, crime, prison time, drug dealing (and use), beating up your "bitches", single motherhood, and victimhood. Maybe THEN your kids won't go to school to be gangbanging thugs, beating up other kids for fun, starting fights, and generally creating chaos in the school. I don't care what color you are, its your BEHAVIOR that's the problem. The study failed to point out that the great majority of teachers and administrators are also BLACK! Are they turning on their own race or just doing their job?
