Can My Job Only Pay Me For 8 Hours Instead Of 9 Because Of Daylight Saving Time?
A man says that he worked on Sunday, and, because of daylight saving time, his boss only wants to pay him for 8 hours instead of the 9 he worked. Is this legal?
I always filled out an overtime slip and made a "time change" notation on my time card.My job always paid me for the extra hour.I can't speak for anyone else's job.
If the work contract pays a salary, yes but not if it is an hourly wage job.

Harvey,
ReplyDeletetake a moment to think about what you just said there....
thanks for trying though but i think its clear that this is an hourly job bud.....
Every hour that I have experienced in my lifetime took exactly 60 minutes to endure/ enjoy. Not seeing a reality in this story.
ReplyDeleteQuestion will they want to be paid for 8hrs for the 7hrs they work in the spring when the time is set up 1hr?
