I don't have an Apple computer but I am sure his vast knowledge of technology has impacted all of us in some way. As far as cell phones go, I do not have (can't afford) internet on my phone so I can't comment on the great things he did with the iphone, etc.
I am not really up on computers. Of course I have heard of Apple computers but have honestly never heard of this man until his death, unfortunately. God bless him for the advances in technology that were developed and passed on to us. Rest in peace, sir, and may God comfort your family.
I have bought mac computers my whole life. I currently have a 20 inch iMac, iPad 2, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle, iPod Video, and MacBook Air. I absolutely love apple products and have always put my trust into them. I will deeply miss steve jobs and the great innovations he has brought into my life!
I'm not sure of the exact #,but I think he had over 300 patents credited to him.Most or all were tech related.Kind of a modern day Edison.Cathy said it best.
Steve Jobs thought outside of the box which is rare. He was an Einstein. This quote from him says it all.

no Apple products in our lives. Apple products have probably impacted us through other manufacturers playing 'catch up'. a loss to the tech world.

while i dont use apple products many things i use were developed to compete with them
my $20 mp3 player works just as well as the $100+ ipod
