Do We Care?

  1. They have that freak looking pitcher who looks like he's a 12 y/o stoner can't really get behind them!

  3. At least it's a diversion from the elections.

  4. not at all. baseball has become hum-drum. 162 games makes the season diluted. the games dont mean anything.
i was really irritated when i was trying to watch football and they kept talking about baseball during the game and every commercial.

  5. league and world seris games were all great. It brought out the best in all players. Though I wanted Texas to win the world series, I was happy with the performances of both teams. All hail the victors, THE SAN FRANSICO GIANTS.

  6. i care. i still care about the game, even if the players / commissioner have ruined it with $$$ and steroids. the world series celebration is a beautiful thing. its what these guys have dreamed about since they were 8 years old.

  7. I lost interest in the Giants when they moved to San Fransico . Man , am I getting old or what. 1954 , I think.

  8. Yes we do care! Both teams played hard, but the Giants had some awesome pitching going on! I enjoyed watching the World Series this year with these teams in it.

  9. I just wish all sports games (baseball, football, basketball, golf, etc.) would end when they're supposed to end & stop ruining TV for those of us who are NOT sports fans.

  10. Yes, it's always good when the Yankees aren't in the World Series! Derek Jeter had the smirk wiped off of his face this year!

  11. I care but I don't care. I think that there is something wrong when baseball runs into the end of October, and basketball into June, but football is over by the end of January (I LOVE my football!) The players that worked hard and played the game honestly and without chemical help deserve the win and the accolades they get, win or lose. It is an accomplishment. I also agree with the earlier poster--at least it wasn't the Yankees (YUK)!

  12. They did??? Who did they play against?

  13. Of course you should care, it's part of the fabric of American sports, which itself is a key part of what makes our country great. It's a shame more Americans seem to know the gritty details about the trashy lives of celebs but coudln't on their lives tell you who won the last few Super Bowls, Stanley Cups, World Series or NBA titles.

  14. The Giants? What Giants? Heck I thought they played football in N.J.

  15. Of course I care. If someone doesn't care about the World Series then they should get out of this country!

  16. what is a world series?????
Forgot about baseball after they decided to strike during the world series. Have not watched a game since.

Go Kevin Harvick (since smoke is to far back) or anyone but JJ

  17. all sports are to long in their seasons. football gos from july to february, super bowl was in feb. before. basketball goes till june, as does hockey. and baseball goes from feb. untill nov. racing goes from feb. nov. even tough my favorite, it's way to long for most.
either way. all major sports are way to long. hockey and basketball the worst.
and yes, i thought it was great to see someone new win the world series. 56 years ago for the giants. i enjoyed every inning.

  18. Baseball is too boring with games going over 3 hours long. My son started playing lacrosse and I love that sport. It is fast paced with lots of action. Of course, football is the king.

Your the only one who doesnt watch sports. Even those who dont like to play liek to watch most of the time. So us sports fans would like for you non sports fans to stop whining there are thousands of channels on TV find someone else.

  20. 162 games DOESN'T dilute the season. The Giants won their playoff birth on the last day of the season... so go tell the world series champs that every game doesn't matter... I think they would disagree. And besides the logical side of it, what would a warm summer night be without a ball game to watch, listen to or even attend? Not the kind of summer i want to be having any time soon.

  21. When they stop paying all these sports figures millions and millions of dollars NOT to play a good game then maybe I'll start caring again.
Baseball with all their steriod use doesn't interest me at all anymore and that's a shame.
Football, which I've always been a huge fan of is starting to not interest me anymore either.
They've all become nothing but about the $$$$$, forget about the game and the fans who want to see a good game!

  23. Yes, as long as the Yankees are home watching it on tv. Thank you to all their fans for the luxury tax money, please keep supporting the Yanks, the small market teams need that money.. Ha Ha LOL
