  2. Ehrlich if the people wise up. I saw O'Malley at the caps game last night and most of the crowd booed him including me!

  7. Ehrlich will definately win on the eastern shore and western Md.

  8. Ehrlich, the only reason he lost last time was the wave of anti G.W. Bush sentiment against Republicans.

  9. The lesser of 2 evils.

  12. Ehrlich doesn't have the magic bullet to fix things either. Maybe he would keep funds in the hands of public safety and other important projects instead of cutting them to give to the welfare programs.

I do have to say that Ehrlich's arrogance is hard to take though.

  13. Ehrlich welcome back.

  14. Praying for Ehrlich, the state employees can't take anymore pay cuts under O'Malley.

  15. Unfortunately, O'Malley will probably win. Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, along with Baltimore City, will easily trump all the other counties combined. There is simply no way to overcome that advantage. If Ehrlich were to win, he would still have to go up against the heavily Democratic legislature to advance his agenda. Good luck on that.

  27. Balto, PG County, & Montgomery is who to ask. Our votes don't count.
We need a conservative Tea Partier that can win in those counties.

  28. 3:37- You say he didn't do anything for state employees before. Well I know they were still getting COL raise as well as some merit raises depending on department. There weren't any furlough days and sales tax was 5%. So wake up. OMalley has screwed all marylanders. He did not act alone. We also have to clean out Annapolis just like DC. We need some new blood and ideas. Maryland is one of the heavily taxed states and we still got nothing. I think Erlich in a second term would have balanced the buget.

  29. Joe knows the truth, people on here are fooling themselves, O'Malley will win.

  30. Ehrlich increased spending by 39%. O'Malley lowered it by 9%. The tax and spend guy is Ehrlich.

  31. Brian Murphy hopefully. Some new fresh ideas. A true Republican.

  32. I agree there is no way to trump the mid-state counties. Baltimore, PG and Monkey will elect the Democrat simply because that's what they are trained to do. Ehrlich's only hope is that people in those areas don't show up on election day. Who is his running mate?

  33. People do not forget the condition Ehrlich left Maryland in on his last go round. And yes his arrogance is definitely hard to take. He is a typical GOP superior thinking feeling arshole.

  34. I'll vote for the new kid. I was gung-ho for Ehrlich when he ran and won last time. Once in office he acted just like a Democrat, but instead of raising taxes, he raised and instituted new fees. And just like O'Malley, Ehrlich had that air of arrogance about him. Then he hired that buddy to become the "grim reaper" to set out and slay any employee that was a Democrat.
