americans revolt by speech then action..the power of the vote is not to be ignored
ReplyDeleteIt will be a civil revolt with people using their votes. Beware politicians that are trying to create more entitlement programs. These programs need cut not created.

ReplyDeleteThese comments tell the story in themselves. A real picture of apathy. Being taxed to death? Who cares, not my problem. Federal Gov't broke and still spending? Let somebody else deal with it, not my problem. When enough people shrug their shoulders and don't care, guess what happens?

ReplyDeleteyes. a recent poll showed that 93% of americans believe that a 2nd American revolution is coming. Whether or not they agreed that it SHOULD happen was irrelevent to the poll.

ReplyDelete10:37 it's already too late to get out of the "death spiral". The politicians are trying to spin some picture of a recovering economy while they continue to drain the last drop of money we have from our economically dying hands.
ReplyDeleteYes, there will soon be another American Revolution. The tree of liberty is very thirsty. I think this healthcare bill will be the usurpation of the constitution necessary to cause the spark. It will be our Lexington Green. Sad but true.

the "revolt" will take place at the ballot box and also through the formation of a new political party that actually represents the majority of Americans.
ReplyDeleteOur two party system broken because both major parties are polluted with politicians who are more interested in personal power and partisan power than in what is right.
The people's work has not been attended to for more than two decades now...enough is enough.
There is not one incumbent I will vote for .Not one.
I feel there will be some kind of revolt/civil war at some point in time; things can't go on without something taking place.

While I agree that certainly things need to change, lets be real for a moment.
ReplyDeleteI work a full time job and a part time job just to survive so I don't have time to take off and go on a field trip to Washington.
That is the same situation a lot of Americans are in. Sure, we'd like to see change but unless our bills are paid, it won't matter, will it?
Some want to blame all of this on Obama, I don't. I blame SOME of it on this administration but this debt has been climbing for a LONG time and people just ignored it!
I will do my part at the ballot box at election time.

I've personally emailed and called my representatives from top to bottom and back again for several weeks now. The only responses I'v gotten have been automated emails stating they were 1} swamped with emails, 2] not available. Phone calls have only produced busy signals {Fox news has pictures of several offices with all their phones off the hook laying on desk from yesterday in DC}.
ReplyDeletePoint is most of congress and other representatives no longer care to listen, heck they even ignore all the polls, town hall meetings and all...they have their own agenda. They are now to the point they openly plan to avoid the Constitution to do their own bidding. They need to fear accountability.
I honestly dont thing we can rid ourselves of all the crooks by voting, even then...will it be to late? You have heard the storm warnings for some time now, we must prepare.

Can you come and go as you want, do you have to stand in line for bread every day, is anyone in government telling you that you can not go to the church of your choice? You do not appreciate what you have, so why do you deserve it or more importantly anything better. Anarchy and dictatorship go hand in hand.
ReplyDeleteIt is your civic duty as an American to challenge or even revolt againts your government that was formed on the concept---of the people, by the people and for the people. The people have been forgotten. We owe it to our forefathers, our fallen soldiers, and to our future Americans. The Constitution has become twisted in its meaning, race issues have been created by un-americans. Your not asian-American, african-American, german-American, white-American, your an AMERICAN if not go back to your descriptive country and take some of our un-american politicians with you! For the rest of us----dig in; it wont be easy, but lets fight---- challenge your congressional and state reps; challenge our local governments and make them accountable. Now is not the time to sit back---be heard, take a stand. And yes free speach and the right to bear arms were the first freedoms our forefathers felt important or they would not have been #1 and #2. Final thought----watch the "Patriot" with Mel Gibson and re-energize that American Spirit of revolt.

It's just a matter of time. Most people who don't support this government's agenda don't have time to go to rallies or call people on the phone. All it will take to break the camel's back is a nasty gun ban law at this point.

Yea. We'll be luck if we get another couple of months out of this government (or unlucky if you prefer). We're definitely on our way to revolution. From the roof tops not the ballot box. Stock up folks cause it's about to get ugly.

ReplyDeleteEven a conservative and otherwise peaceful blogger here talks about hitting the street should it pass blatantly usurping our constitution.
Get your equipment NOW if you don't already have it. Flack vests are available on-line and you wouldn't want to be without one when the SHTF. Go on-line and learn as much about them as you can so that you can get one that best suits your needs.
Stock pile your ammo because it will soon be almost impossible to get.
Stock pile non-perishable food. It will become hard to get when the SHTF.
Water purification tabs and filters are a good idea should you need to draw drinking water from ponds, etc.
Remember, the government will likely declare martial law if the SHTF. There will be no constitutional protection and your weapons will be confiscated. Keep additional weapons and ammo in a safe hiding place.
As society deteriorates, roving bands will be pillaging for food at night in spite of curfew which will be imposed with martial law. This means you will have to keep someone awake at night to assure you're not caught off guard. Most times, you and your family alone will not be able to carry this out on your own. Contact your family and friends and HAVE A PLAN! Get together at one residence and set up shop. Not now. When the SHTF. Don't panic. Just develop a plan and involve family and close friends. It's easier to have friends share the responsibility of staying up for 1 or 2 hours each through the night to keep watch against looters than it is to try to do it all yourself.
Prepare for loss of public services such as electricity and water. A generator will go a long way in the country as long as you have fuel. Use it only when necessary to conserve fuel.
Be prepared to protect yourself against anyone. Don't let ANYONE take you from your home - no matter what!
Do not communicate via cell phone. Turn them off and leave them somewhere far from you as everyone can be tracked via cell phone. Use small portable hand held two way radios and CB's and never use names or locations.
Put a decal of an upside down American flag on your home and vehicle so that we can identify each other as friendly - BUT - never blindly trust anyone!
When this starts, we will never be the same. Our nation will be changed forever.
Freedom and liberty will prevail.
May God have mercy on us all.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm.......maybe they'd like to give the government one more chance to honor the oath they took when they swore to uphold the Constitution. They don't wish for a violent for a violent revolution, they fear there is no other option - so they prepare. But fear not! When it starts the tree of liberty will have more to drink than it needs. The truth is that the easiest way to fix this problem is to get back to the constitutional principles upon which this nation was built. The politicians will have no part of that. It cuts their cash flow.

ReplyDeleteDon't count on the eastern shore to revolt against anything openly. As long as they can hide behind their computers they'll revolt all day long. Make them stand up and be counted and you will be standing alone. Very few with a backbone in this part of the country.
