Does The Mayor Have Receipts?
A commenter stated the other day that someone should look into whether or not the Mayor allegedly had the deck on her home built by Public Works. They strongly suggested someone look into that and made it sound as if they were in the know and that she allegedly had done something wrong?
WELL, DO YOU HAVE RECEIPTS? Taxpayers want to know Barrie? I think that a person in your position should be accountable for such questions and you can clearly shut them up by showing you have receipts AND that the Contractor has one as well. You know, the kind with Invoice Numbers on it so they can prove they didn't just make it up and slap an old date on it. You know, the ones where they can prove other work was done around that same time and year so there's no conflict.
Shut these people up Barrie.
Salisbury Police Keepin It Real
On February 27, 2008 at approximately 8:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to meet with a victim of an armed robbery at Tim’s Pizza on Tilghman Road. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim, who was a food delivery driver for Tim’s Pizza. The victim advised the officers that he was making a food delivery at a residence on the three hundred (300) block of Charles St. when he was approached by a lone suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded U.S. currency and the delivery food from the victim. The victim gave the suspect an amount of U.S. currency and the food, and the suspect fled from the area on foot. There were no injuries, and the suspect is described as: African-American male, approximately 20 years of age, wearing a “puffy” camouflage jacket, and blue jeans. The suspect is also described to have gold teeth. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165. CC # 200800006943

Jordan Wants To Take Down Comegys As Well!
It's my understanding Jordan will be filing to go after Gary Comegys as well as Mayor Tilghman and Louise Smith. IF he chooses to file against Comegys today, he'll finally have my support. However, that will come with a twist. I want Jordan to come to me with 2,500 signatures before I'll personally get involved. He needs to do so within 60 days too. IF he can pull that off, I'm in and so will many others.
It's a matter of showing this isn't a scam made up by the Mayor. You know how she works. Send everyone out there collecting signatures, get their names in it and then bash them when everyone comes to find out their signatures were no good and it fails.
Nope, I believe Jordan has enough Students to pull off at least the beginning portion of this whole thing and once he does we'll all get involved and finish it off. It looks like this could get quite interesting.
One Year Ago Today!
It was a year ago today I received a letter from Mayor Barrie Tilghman and her Attorneys threatening to sue me. Obviously I have been shaking in my boots and immediately pulled anything and everything referencing the Mayor from my Blog, NOT!
That woman can run around threatening everyone else but my God, does she actually believe I'm scared of her? Although we were supposed to be in Court in January of this year, there still is NO trial date and I couldn't care less either way.
Hey Barrie, how do you like my hits now? Pretty scary when we're bigger than The Daily Time now, eh? Recall this woman and get it over with. By the way, Anti Albero Bloggers, what's this woman costing the taxpayers trying to sue me? It should also be noted that Mr. Disharoon asked why the SPD had a bill to be paid for $9,999.00, (coincidentally the same amount they're suing me for) for outside legal services and he has YET to receive an answer. It's a shame you can't recall the Chief too.
Take Home Cars A Thing Of The Past For Salisbury
At least for the Salisbury Police Department anyway. One of the perks about joining the Salisbury Police Department was if you lived in the City, you got a take home car. NOT any more!
Due to so many vehicles getting crushed, (like the one above) and the Mayor refusing to give the money the Police Department so desperately needs, those perks are now gone. Like typical Governments, they gave their pay raises and then took away the perks. Some might call it a scam?
Nevertheless, the Salisbury Police Department will lose more and more Officers that way. However, it's only the stupid ones that actually live IN the City anyway. The smart ones know better than to participate in a 14% tax increase while pocketing their new pay increases and NOT giving it back to the City.
The Wicomico Landfill Has More Secrets To Be Exposed
Years ago you used to be able to go to the Wicomico County Landfill and take items you knew nothing was really wrong with it and place it off to the right hand side. It was an inside thing locals knew about. Therefore, when someone came along and felt they could use that washer, or dryer, or frig, of whatever else might be in decent shape, it could be taken for free and put back to good use. More importantly it would save that much more room in the Landfill.
A few years ago people came to the Landfill and when they saw one of these items off to the right and attempted to take the item, the men in the booth would come running out of the building screaming and yelling at you to LEAVE IT ALONE!
These guys had their own little business on the sly going, allegedly selling off these items and making money off them. Again, something you're NOT going to read in The Daily Times because quite frankly, they're too big for these kind of stories.
So for the many of you who have been yelled at and belittled, this is for you. How dare those scumbags treat YOU like YOU were stealing! Nevertheless, I hope Sheriff Lewis and Rick Pollitt look into this portion of the alleged resale items? It may be small to them but just sit there for one hour and see how many great items get thrown away. It will blow your mind!

The Daily Times Is Full Of Sh!t!
OK, let's look at the first statement made in today's paper. Did any of YOU know that Station 16 was in fact "on the market?" I sure didn't and I've offered to pay cash for it! Oh, but they don't LIE, right? They offer you INVESTIGATIVE and detailed reporting, right?
How about this one? "The best piece of real estate in Wicomico County." Are you F/N kidding me? OK Folks, now you know who NOT to go to when you list your home or business for sale.
I have certainly seen enough this morning to make me want to throw up. There are real estate ads EVERYWHERE in this paper. It's now like the Ocean City Today, Beachcomber and Coastal Dispatch! Like I said, you have to get through the ads to find an article and that's what The Daily Time is becoming.
Oh well, this is just going to make my job even easier to compete and I'm confident people here will enjoy Salisbury News more than they will The Daily Times. Thanks again Gannett and Greg Bassett.
Serious Accident On Riverside Drive
Riverside Drive is closed down this morning because of a very serious accident. I'm told by a friend that they couldn't believe someone could survive this crash.
All too often people try to pass others in a no pass zone and accidents like this happen far too frequently. I say, come back with the spike strips in the road that flop down when you drive in one direction yet puncture your tires if you're going the wrong way in the other direction. That will stop this crap. It's a bit severe but it may be a necessity around these turns. It may also save some lives.

Louis Pope & Andy Harris Were Guest Speakers At Lincoln Day Dinner
Mr. Louis Pope, MDGOP National Committeeman & RNC Vice Chairman joined Senator and Republican Congressional Candidate Andy Harris in Princess Anne Saturday night.
I have to be honest with you. It was a very long day and trying to stay awake for this event was almost impossible. The food, well, it's almost impossible to screw up fried chicken but some how they pulled it off. Honest to God, I would never want to be a politician!
I did meet another Fan of Salisbury News. A Reporter with a local Newspaper down there who visits this Site every day. My Wife informs me there were several people going, "that's Joe Albero from Salisbury News." Fortunately they had very nice things to say.
Oasis Car Wash Finally Opens
After years of lingering around, the Oasis Car Wash has finally opened up for business and people are actually using the self service portion of the facility already.
The Mayor mentioned something might be happening in the near future with this location when she was at the Democratic Club Meeting recently. She also said it was about time.
States Attorney Davis Ruark Will Not Resign
"I am returning to resume my duties as State's Attorney. I will not resign or retire."
"I am much, much stronger than anyone thinks. I have done an exceptional job for the people of Wicomico County, and I will continue to do so."
"I was alone in the automobile . . . all by myself . . . and that there was no one waiting for me at the condominium."
So Barrie Tilghman and others, cut the BS! Spreading lies and rumors in the attempt to destroy someones career after 20 years is sad and completely out of line. Again, I'll repeat, Davis Ruark has made ONE mistake in judgment, Barrie has made MANY. Don't make me have to repeat them all either!
The truth, Davis has taken some leave to go to a facility south of Maryland and will come back a changed man with a whole new appreciation for life, work and the people he serves.
How come you didn't read stories with information and quotes like this from The New Daily Times?
The New Daily Times
OK, if you like to use a magnifying glass to read the tiny print and you also enjoy sifting through the entire paper for articles buried underneath and around ads, The New Daily Times Is For You!
They start out telling you how its an easier newspaper to read and they attempt to convince you that since they spent $6,000,000.00 on a new press, this is the answer because you're going to love it, NOT!
It flat out sucks! It's like trying to read this Blog like this. From this point forward, you're going to love what we offer because we're going to make it smaller, just for you!
Things are NOT where they used to be, even though their message in the beginning tells you not much has changed. They must have also had a 70% Off Advertising Sale for this issue because everyone and their brother is advertising.
OK, here's the rest of the truth. To line the dog crates with this new size SUCKS! Sorry guys, I'm not impressed and neither will most of your clients. Looks to me like you're trying to save money at the customers expense.
