The Press Conference Chief Webster Refused To Allow Me In
It was a year ago today the Salisbury Police Chief refused to allow me access to a Press Conference, yet I got the information anyway. This defeated his entire purpose but IMO, all he has to do is act like a gentleman and the two of us could get along just fine. Sadly, when you're a puppet for the Mayor and you can't stand up for what is right, it causes more harm than good.
Today, Chief Webster has to be in FULL damage control mode because if she goes, he goes, it's a given. No wonder these Anti Albero Blogs are popping up with inside police information. There's also the inside water department information as well.
I want to express the following. I have nothing against Chief Webster as a man. Actually, I think he's a pretty decent guy. I disagree with how he manages the Police Department and I would have done things much different in business. You know, like telling the Mayor where to shove it if she didn't support my Staff. This kind of things.
Maybe things will change?
Major Fire On Nanticoke Road Right Now
There seems to be a woods fire on Nanticoke Road where it's getting out of control. They called for a Plow to come out but were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour to get there. They're calling in Tankers from all over the area as Salisbury is lacking this exact equipment Councilwoman Debbie Campbell has been screaming about. Yet Flip & Flop know what they're doing, right?
My next guess is, the Salisbury Fire Department will be asking for a $800,000.00 Bulldozer instead of large tankers. More to come.........

It's Official, Louise Smith May Be Recalled With Mayor Barrie Tilghman
While we met at 300 W. Main St. in Downtown Salisbury this morning, a small group got together to discuss where to go next. However, there was a pleasant twist to the equation, Louise Smith.
Citizens have been completely frustrated with Ms. Accountability and the lack thereof, therefore she too may be recalled.
Barrie Tilghman and her minions from the Anti Albero Blogs tried all they could to have the meeting stopped today by contacting the Fire Marshall but were not successful. Oh, they showed up but for some reason they were simply too late. LMAO!
OK, so here's the big news on top of what I've already mentioned. This Student Jordan Reisman is smarter than the average bear! You see, he already has around 2,500 Students willing to register in Salisbury with thousands of others interested. Some are concerned that many, if not almost all of them will not be here when it comes time to vote. HOWEVER, there's something called an absentee ballot and they're way ahead of everyone.
COULD SU STUDENT OVERPOWER THE CITY OF SALISBURY? OMG, yes they can! I mentioned this many months ago, this was something to fear. Comegys and the Tilghman people/supporters through the Landlords scared the living crap out of the Students and they LIED to them. Well, paybacks are hell.
This thing could happen overnight Ladies & Gentlemen, with Students alone. The question is, will they step forward for the good of the City? Mike Dunn has been harassing Jordan, calling him and giving him crap about what this will cost the Taxpayers of Salisbury. Hell Mike, I cost the City more than that in the Zoo alone! Of course, it made things better for the River so they couldn't pollute it any more.
Now let's look at this 14% Tax Increase that wasn't necessary and Barrie Tilghman's attempt to raise the water and sewer fund while they had $8,800,000.00 floating around in an account they just happened to FIND after Councilwoman Campbell challenged them. Then the Mayor STILL wanted to keep the increase anyway.
Take away that 14% Tax Increase and the Mayor and Jordan just saved the Taxpayers how much money? That's about $5,800,000.00 in SAVINGS, YOU IDIOT! Mike Dunn is a clueless Idiot who will go to any extreme to save his a$$ with this Mayor. Could we get a forensic auditor at that point to start looking at the books? My guess is, YES!
We met today to decide if some of us are going to support this effort and the answer for me is, YES. I don't care if the Mayor will get kicked out 6 months early or not. The point here is, this is a grassroots effort to show people ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Why that would discourage anyone from signing it is simply stupid. IMO, you either support a recall, or you don't. Timing means nothing. The City AND Wicomico County is out of control.
More Daily Times Coverage Today
"Student decries recall criticism" Of course I'm mentioned in the article but I never once received a call from Greg Latshaw. Obviously they read my Blog and at the top of the home page it clearly hosts my telephone number, so that shouldn't be the problem.
"Delmar resident and blogger Joe Albero announced he will kick off the petition by hosting a signing drive 10 a.m. at his 300 W. Main St. property." Well guys, we're simply meeting people there, many of which will be the very first time ANY of us have met. There's no signing of anything there and I offered it as a place to simply meet.
However, that's NOT a bad idea. Perhaps 300 W. Main Street should have someone there regularly to take signatures? I like it, consider it done. The article goes on to state it would cost taxpayers between $56,000.00 to $60,000.00. Heck, don't feel bad Jordan, I cost the City hundreds of thousands of dollars, (HONESTLY) and there are very few taxpayers complaining. When your cause is for the better for the taxpayer, they welcome it. So don't sweat it.

Today's Daily Times
Allow me to tell you a little story about yesterdays murder in Parsonsburg. If you're wondering WHY the Daily Times has no photographic coverage of that event, THEY WEREN'T THERE.
All too often any more you're simply seeing the story but in many cases, they never showed up for the event and usually go off of press releases and or they bully the people involved into telling them what happened, seriously.
The Daily Times is losing power fast and many important people are sick and tired of them strong arming them for the story the day before so they can compete with television news. Yesterday was an interesting example.
When I arrived, (FIRST) to the scene, the Police stated NO ONE could go up the road, not even the Press. A friend of mine pulled up right at that moment, trying to get to their own home ON THAT ROAD, she was refused access. Mind you, the murder was probably 1/2 a mile away and they could have easily gotten to their home in less than a 1/4 mile. Nevertheless, we said hello and they said, "follow me." At that time, 47 & 16 News had arrived and I yelled out to them, if you want to get to the scene, FOLLOW ME!
This friend took us through farms and corn fields, (literally) and we accessed their property and were able to get shots right from there. Once the Police saw that we were close, they waved us on to get closer to the scene, THANK YOU!
Even if and when The Daily Times arrived, THEY COULDN'T GET THERE! The tide is changing Ladies & Gentlemen. Rather than someone holding the door open all the time for The Daily Times, more often than not, they're now holding it open for Salisbury News instead. I should add. I received a tip call about the shooting from this property owner telling me that if they didn't let me through, call them back and they'd tell me how to access those fields.
Maybe we'll see you guys at the next one?

Can The Downtown Plaza Be Brought Back To Life?
Not while Mayor Barrie Tilghman is in Office, that's been proven. However, with a new Mayor, Salisbury can get back to normal and the people can demand changes for the better.
Everything in the Tilghman Administration has been about "The Developers" and NOT the people, unless you wanted massive water and sewer increases as well as tax increases to pay those Developers off?
It's time to make a difference and boot that woman out of Office. It's a long shot but my hat is tipped to the people interested in going after a Recall against her. If I lived in the City I'd even consider running!
