The Maryland Politics Today Blog Site asked some time ago if they could use some of my photos to promote local politics on the Eastern Shore and I happily agreed. However, I did ask that they show where they came from and he has been a perfect gentleman in doing so.
It now makes me wonder if this is one of the reasons why we're reaching the over 5,000 reader mark per day on my Blog? It's all good to me though. The more, the merrier! I hope this link helps your numbers as well Ken.

It's A Crying Shame When Your Head Stone Ends Up As Rip Rap On The Bay!
We found this head stone buried with a whole bunch of other crushed concrete along the Chesapeake Bay yesterday. Perhaps they spelled his name wrong and it was a wasted piece? Perhaps they upgraded the head stone after several years? Perhaps they developed that area and simply didn't give a hoot? Which do you think it might be?

A Bruital Hint As To Where The Trash Is Coming From On The Plaza
Fact, last night we watched a tenant come out of this building with a bag of trash, walk over to the trash can on the Plaza with two Police Officers sitting right there watching him and drop his bag right into the trash can provided by the City/Taxpayers.
Although Mike Dunn brought this exact situation up at last Monday's City Council Meeting as being a problem for the City, he said, Gary, (Comegys) don't you have a friend that lives on the Plaza and you actually watched her take a kitchen bag of trash from her kitchen and take it right to the trash cans on the Plaza and throw it away? Why yes Mike, I sure did. Wow, this is a serious problem Folks. We need to do something about this right away.
In Albero version. Hey Gary, did you read Joe Albero's Blog Site and see all those pictures of trash cans overflowing daily on the Plaza. Uh, yeah, um, yeah Mike but uh, I'll never admit it. Well this guy is killing us! Getting some 5,000 hits a day, people are really starting to believe what he's putting out there so we better make up a "cool" story for Monday night's meeting and get this trash thing taken care of, okay? Uh, well, um, I, uh, well, yeah, that might make some, uh sense, oh look, a chicken!
By the way Mayor, there were four of us who watched it happen. Two of them were Police Officers.

Cleaning Up After Christmas
You have to give thanks to these companies who went the extra mile to paint the glass on their businesses for the Holidays. They have now chosen it's time to take it down and move onto the next season.
I'm thinking of asking permission to paint selective cartoons from the Daily Times onto my windows for everyone to enjoy. Perhaps someone could paint some of the pictures I've taken over time? It doesn't look like a permit is necessary, any Ideas Folks?
2 More Lamps Burned Out
Since no one is policing the lamps burned out in the City, here's another photo of two burned out lamps on the Plaza. The first is obvious but the second is around 9:00 to this one through the tree that's 1/2 way light up. If this is what it takes to get things done in Salisbury, I'm willing to waste some space on my Blog to get things right.
THIEF!
As we were walking along the Plaza numerous times last night I noticed this young couple hanging out by the fountain. They seemed very nice but after a few trips we started to notice his sleeves rolled up to his shoulders as he was reaching into the fountains and collecting all the cash he could get. Then they'd move to the next fountain and do the same thing. Times are tougher than we thought!
Flavors Of Italy Update
Last night's photo update. As you can clearly see for four days now, they have only added to the pile and they have cleaned up nothing. I wonder how long it will take before they hear about these posts on this Blog and start scrambling to clean it up. I'm confident that will happen WELL before this so called Health Department goes to visit them. At least we have photos to prove it was going on anyway.
