Waller Landing In Hebron
If you thought I missed last night's meeting, you were wrong. However, once they mentioned they weren't going to discuss water and sewer, schools or basically anything important other than what "they" wanted to talk about, I was out of there. I will say it was nice to see certain Council Members in attendance. Might I add, I counted some 60 people in attendance, not counting local officials and the developers.
What Happens To The Ad When Their Time Runs Out?
Although I have many more pictures of the debris lying all over the place from these billboards, the ones I have selected should spell out the story.
ClearChannel should be fined by the City in the hopes that it could then afford more people to work in Tom Stevenson's office! Folks, there is so much more going on out there that a team of only 7 people simply cannot keep up, seriously!
I will be making posts later this evening that will probably outrage many of you but I want to make it very clear, Tom is aware of it, they are working on resolutions, they're in some cases waiting for Spring, (understandably) and most of all he's looking for help.
The filth, the trash, the littering, the graffiti, Barrie Tilghman needs to expand that office until things are cleaned up. Can't we bring in some work release criminals and have them help out as well? Does the Chief have any connections anywhere? Perhaps we should just call Mike Lewis, (Superman) to the rescue?
The Lean Factor?
The Dumbest Article I'll Ever Write!
Although the Daily Times took up valuable front page space to write an article about a couple becoming engaged via a billboard, why did they forget to publish Martin's Birthday? I mean, who is Martin anyway? I can't wait to buy the next Daily Times to find out the answer. This is how they sell papers, isn't it?
As I was cruising Downtown this morning, along came Chief Webster once again. However, what hasn't been told is how the Chief stalked me yesterday. Not only was the man following me ILLEGALLY by tailing me within 5 feet while driving down the road, he followed me all the way to the end of town and then raced from the left lane all the way over to the right at a rapid rate of speed and made a quick right turn.
The Chief should be more careful as a Deer could have jumped out in front of my car and I would have been forced to slam on my brakes. There's no question he would have slammed into me causing possible back and neck injuries that could have harmed me the rest of my entire life.
Don't you have better things to do with your time Chief??????

This Bud's For You!
Around 8:00 a.m. this Budweiser driver came around the corner to make a delivery at the Market Street Inn and swiped the side of the trailer onto the utility poll and it simply snapped!
Of course the excuse was that the poll is dry rotted but no matter what is said, IT WASN'T IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!
I feel like I live in this territory any more. I had just left that area late last night and first thing this morning it was crawling with activity. Market Street is closed.

Show Me The Light?
Very concerned property owners came to me yesterday and asked for help in making contact with someone, anyone, referencing the multiple street lights burned out along West Church Street and Rt. 50.
It's no wonder these thugs can get around without being seen lately. I counted 4 street lights out on Church Street alone and one out across the street. I did notice for a minute or so while I was out there that two of the lights would pop on for a short period and then go right back out again, if that helps anyone repairing the problem.
For the TAXPAYERS sake who are major victims of criminal graffiti activity, can we please get something done about this TODAY?
