Look Who's Laughing Now!

Is this a face you would trust? This property went from a Garden Center to Parker Place Antiques Junk Yard in no time and it's no wonder this man is laughing all the way to the Bank. After all, paying only $35,000.00 for this lot and screwing the citizens of Salisbury by not fulfilling the original agreement and the Mayor allowing this property to go for so little is shameful. Don't get me wrong though folks, I would have easily paid $35,000.00 for it too and you just might have seen this same kind of smile on my face as well!

However, I would have put in a sludge pit, multiple burial sites for dead animals from the Zoo, a dedicated wall to display all the Peace Orders, Criminal Summons and Warrants put out against me from the Zoo, transcripts from the Rachel Polk trial with the Mayor and her Daughter, left over illegal pipes that were removed from the Zoo draining raw sewage directly into the river and all sorts of other memorabilia.

What would you have added to the list?

Rt 50 In West Ocean City Gets Shut Down!

The State Police flew in and landed right in the middle of Rt. 50 an hour ago and shut down Rt. 50 because of a very bad accident where one car had been t-boned. West bound traffic was eventually rerouted through Glen Riddle while the East bound traffic was shut down. Maybe tomorrow morning you'll read more about it in the Daily Times? They seem to use the Blog Sites for their main source for news now and we'll leave it to the MSM to deliver the gory details.

There Is No 4 To 2 Law If It's A Commercial Building!

Brazilians own a store called The Melting Pot located at, 1305 S. Division St Unit 19. Salisbury, MD. 21842 who are very rarely open for business and now I know why.

Parente builders, (a Tom Ruark sub contractor) come by in the early morning and beep the horn at the door, same as you would do if you were picking someone up.

4 hispanics came out of the CLOSED store, as if they had just rolled out of bed. It's pretty obvious these guys are living in a commercial strip center.

I came to learn that last week this group had Cable TV installed and are obviously making themselves at home there. The law and leases clearly state you cannot live in these properties and this post blows this illegal activity right out of the water.

If you look in the evening you'll see three vehicles. Two with PA. tags on the vehicles and one with a DE. temp tag. It's obvious these are more FOB's and Ruark and friends have found a way to house these illegals without worrying about the old 4 to 2 rules, let alone green cards. There won't be any Inspectors checking out these properties either.

Is It Up, Or Down?

What do you mean, is it up or down? It's down! No it's not, look at the camera! Yeah, so. It clearly shows you the bridge is down. That's not our bridge, that's the Rt. 50 bridge! Well how the hell was I supposed to know what bridge is what. Aren't they the same color? So anyhow, can you take a look out the window and see if the bridge is up or down? No way, I did it the last time, you go look. Hey, how many cars do you think are in line right now? You're not going to play that game with me just to get me to stand up and look out the window! No seriously, let's make a bet. The longer we wait the more cars that will line up. I'll bet you $20.00 as long as we leave the lights red, it takes 12 more minutes before someone honks their horn? OK, you're on! Maybe if we turned the lights green someone would be stupid enough to drive into the bridge? Nah, with our luck it would be Barrie Tilghman and that would get us into some pretty serious trouble. Hey, it's been so long I can't remember. Does green mean stop and red means go? Why do you have to always confuse me like that with such stupid questions! Of coarse green means stop and red means go, DUH! So what did you bring for lunch today? I didn't, we need to go out for lunch. OK, let's go a little early and on our way out we can see if the bridge is up or down. If it's up we'll just say it isn't working again and we're waiting for the repair people to fix it. OK, cool, great idea!

Naylor Mill Road Closed

After all this talk about the RR X-ing being repaired I came across this scene yesterday and was sent on a detour route to get around it. A VERY small inconvenience to pay when the project is finished because this will be a huge improvement in Salisbury. However, do tell me the last time you saw a road being paved in Salisbury? It's probably been more than 2 years now. As long as someone else is paying for it, the work gets done. If it's on the City's tab, well, in some cases they'll go 50/50 with you and in others they'll simply tell you that even though you're paying double taxes, even though they're building a brand new $9.4 million Fire Station, even though they're rebuilding the Salisbury Zoo at a cost of around $36,000,000.00, even though they're guaranteeing they'll be raising the taxes in the City in 07, there's still not enough money to fix the roads in the City of Salisbury. So do tell everyone Barrie, where did all the money go?
