Today's Wildlife Picture

This baby Dove was another wild animal that seemed to trust me and allow me to get up nice and close and snap this picture. I had never seen one up close like this before.

Heck, who needs a Zoo when you can have all these wild animals at your finger tips?

How I'd Save The City Of Salisbury

In posts on Justice For All? and right here on my Blog Site, Iyeska brings up a very good point. If Barrie Tilghman is so crooked as well as Mike Dunn and others, why even try any more and or what can be done to stop it?

In my opinion there are three choices. Debbie Campbell, Davis Ruark and Charles Jannace. These are the three people that could in fact save the City of Salisbury and turn it back into the lifestyle so many of you chose in the first place.

Here's the question though? Can and will Debbie Campbell be able to afford to financially run for Mayor? IMO her regular job pays extremely well and provides a comfortable lifestyle she's earned and deserves. Big question, big toss up!

Then there's Davis Ruark. Look, this is an extremely honorable man who knows both sides as well as the fact that his Father used to be the former Mayor of Salisbury.

OK, here's a new one being thrown into the arena, Charles Jannace III, AKA Hadley from Justice For All? Today I enjoyed a very fine cigar at lunch time with Charles and to my great surprise the man said he might actually consider running for Mayor.

Some of his ideas were actually the best answers anyone has come up with in many years. We discussed turning the City over to the County, lowering taxes for everyone in the City Limits for starters. Creating one Fire Department and one Police Department. Talk about saving millions of dollars!

What really needs to be considered anyway is what's going to happen with the MDE and the WWTP. Dave Pushkar has admitted that the City is NOT cooperating with the MDE and is in fact stalling and not installing test wells that would prove the liner is in fact leaking and contaminating the river and soil below. The clean up will be in the multi millions of dollars and the City simply cannot afford it any more. There's a lot to discuss and consider but one thing I can assure you, Mayor Barrie Tilghman is through! Mike Dunn has seen his last term on the City Council.

You want things right in the City of Salisbury? You want to see changes for the better? Quit playing around any more and get these people out of Office! It's not a game any more Folks, things are getting serious in Salisbury and the favoritism towards developers has got to end. Barrie and Mike have made their small fortunes and once they are out of office the new powers to be can consider what lawsuits the City wants to take on with these people for illegal activities.

In the mean time, start asking these three people if they'll truly consider running for Mayor or for City Council! Start attending City Council Meetings and start telling these people how you truly feel. Prove to Mike Dunn he's full of crap when it comes to more than 100 people coming to him supporting the old mall project. Dunn wants to convince you that he's done nothing wrong with Sassafras. WRONG! He's a liar! VOTE Debbie Campbell, Davis Ruark or Charles Jannace III for Mayor. Try running up against these three Barrie!

I WANT ANSWERS!!!!!

WARNING! Before you go on, (for safety purposes only) please put on a pair of sunglasses as the high beams might make you go temporarily blind. By all means, do NOT click on the photo to enlarge the image. You have been WARNED.

So where were these two last night? The Citizens of Salisbury pay these two some serious money to ACT as if they're more involved in the City of Salisbury than anyone else, so where were they?

Could it be that Barrie couldn't find a decent bra, hence the photo to the above? Could it be that Mike Dunn was out receiving the Key Club to the City? Was there a ceremony we weren't aware of last night?

I was at the Council Work Session and there was no mention of Mike not being there. So do tell me folks, what exactly are you paying for with these two? In my opinion, these two are toast in the political arena any more. Oh, Mike, a Gentleman would have given up his jacket to a lady obviously too excited or cold. Just some food for thought.

Sam's Club

In all the years I have been shopping at Sam's Club here in Salisbury I have to admit that I have had very few bad experiences there. Granted, there are times I wished they had opened more lines but I consider myself a professional Sam's Club Shopper and I don't end up in there on days I know they're going to be blown away with customers.

Yesterday was a different story though. Much of my family are in Ocean City for the week learning what it's like to be real vacationers/tourons and having to foot a $4,000.00 a week rental bill for a small condo! Yeah, Jennifer and Joe now live in the country away from all that mess and no longer have the perfect place for everyone to visit.

Anyhow, getting back to my story. No one really wanted to head out to a restaurant last night so I stated I'd pick up a bunch of cooked chicken from Sam's Club on my way and they could get the rest. When I arrived at Sam's my worse fear happened, there were NO chickens on display! I did however notice there were some in the oven and the oven was shut down so I went over to the ringer in the meat department and rang the bell.

There were two gentlemen in the prep area and neither one seemed to hear the bell so I rang it again, nothing. The third time I held the button down and waited till someone looked out the window before I let go of the button. Finally one of these guys came to the counter and said, we're closed. I replied, there's chicken in the oven, I'd like 3 of them please. He said, "that's not my job, you'll have to get a manager." All with a severe attitude. I said, you know something PAL, you're a real nice guy.

I went over to the manager and explained what was going on and she immediately got on the phone with this same gentleman and you could clearly tell, he wasn't going to help no matter what! The next thing I knew the guy was walking off the job, he quit right there on the spot.

To make a long story short, I got my chicken but get this, it took more than 50 minutes of standing there before I ended up with them. There were at least 4 other families waiting there very patiently as well and no one could believe what was happening. Maybe you had to be there to completely understand but I had never seen so many people be so rude working at Sam's.

One of the ladies there said, they should give these to us as long as we've been waiting. For the heck of it I walked up to the manager once again and said, you do know we waited some 50 minutes just to get these chickens, right? She replied, yeah, I'm really sorry about that and walked away.

My question to all of you is, am I addicted to Sam's Club, because I know I'll be back? They could spit on me in the check out line and I think I'd have to swallow some pride and walk in the door the next day. Lord knows, they probably hawked up a good one on one of those chickens anyway. LOL

Sassafras

Hadley and Duvall are right Folks! Someone needs to get off their rear end and do something about this illegal activity in order to show the Mayor and others that enough is enough. It is very clear Mike Dunn and his Father have profited from this scam. Mike Dunn did NOT recuse himself in the beginning and should be physicaly thrown out of the Council like an old Western Movie. It is clear that the City and County Council have swept everything under the rug and IMO the County Council isn't too happy about this scam but it's possibly gone too far to look back now. Nevertheless, there are several of us that have broken the news. Several of us have proven there's a case and none of you have stepped up to the plate and done anything about it. Just another prime example of how adults are raising their children today and then blaming all their problems on the teachers. Shame on all of you!

Good Morning

Another fine sunrise coming through the Inlet heading out to sea in Ocean City.

Fly By

I thought this was kind of rare, catching one Hummingbird fly past the other at warp speed. You can't beat luck!
